Thurston's New Job for the Year - Reigning Most Peautiful Pug!
 

Thurston and Kimchi along with Mochie and Olive participated in the 5th Annual Bulldog Beauty Pagent which also includes a Pug Pagent. Real-life, reigning beauty queen judges evaluate the contest. As with traditional beauty contests, the dogs in this pageant will be adjudicated on personality, charm, face, figure, and first impression.
In addition to a year of notoriety and fame and a bejeweled crown, the "most beautiful" dogs in each of the four pageants (English Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, Pugs and Senior Dogs) will also receive dog food and treat a year, courtesy of Dogswell.

So, who won?

Most Beautiful Pug 2010 is MR. LONG BEACH, THURSTON HOWL!

I have NO pictures of this event, however as I had the honor of walking him on the stage and the red carpet. There will be lots of press in the next few days, I'm sure. I'll post links. Meanwhile, you can all say...."I knew him when...."




(I'm also please to report that Kimchi was an ANGEL for 97% of the day. Just don't sit on her Mommy's lap - even if you are Thurston's girlfriend, Olive.)
