I find myself with a fairly empty schedule on Sunday and Monday. (NICE!) Anyone interested in coming over for an impromptu partyish sort of thing?

Sounds fun, but the cheese won't sell or bake itself. Sad cheese.

Saturday's good, though!

I'm a maybe - Maddie has Polo tournaments on Saturday and Sunday mornings but I think I'm free in the afternoons.

I'm at Cinecon, so I will be at the Egyptian all weekend. :(

It's looking like we will be getting Hurricane leftovers for Labor day.

Unless the cold front stalls and we get the full Monty, in which case I will standing by to re-activate the Snowmegeddon cam so you all can watch the fun (until we lose power and/or the roof of course).

I'll be 300 miles closer to you than normal but still not available for partying.

We might be able to....plans up in the air right now.

If'n Theo and his mom have recovered from the cold I so rudely passed on to them by then, I think we'd be in.

Theo's been asking to see Thurston again.

I'll be at the Orange International Street Fair all weekend long. Not really hosting a party but happy to meet up with people who are going.

A soirée at Casa Gato-Pug is always a delight. If my back pain has subdued by then, I'd love to attend.

We were supposed to be camping this weekend. We had to bail because 1) we had no time to get ready for it, and 2) I am leaving on Tuesday for a week+ business trip and I need time to get ready for that. You would think that because of the canceled plans I would be looking forward to a pretty free weekend. No: I have a VERY busy weekend - stuff beyond numbers 1 & 2 above and the BBQ.

Brendan and I are totally there, we are going to be in Long Beach that weekend anyway. I'll be hoping for another one of those lovely sidecars

If you read FB, you know I was severely bitten by a cat on Friday. I don't really have much use of my right hand (although it is getting better). So, no hand shaking for me, but we are still going to be chilling. You can all make fun of me as I try to do things with my left.
