Where are you going in 2011?
 

New year, new set of vacation days. What travel plans do you have for 2011?

We leave in 3 more days for our 15-night DCL Panama Canal cruise with stops in Castaway Cay, Aruba, Costa Rica, Manzanillo, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo. :D

As for the rest of the year, we have yet to decide. Although, we've been talking about WonderCon.

I no longer get any paid vacation or holiday pay. Aside from that, I hope to utilize a long weekend or take a day without pay and have some camping fun down in Anza Borrego or up at a yellow post campsite in Big Bear.

There's talk of a Yosemite trip this summer to commemorate GD's high school Yosemite trip and 15th high school reunion. Would be interesting with a babe in tow, but it's a maybe at this point.

We blew our travel budget last year, and it would take a serious situation to force me to take Theo on a plane again.

Oh, you don't have to take me...

So far we're doing the Disney Alaska cruise in June. Maddie wants to go to Susanville so we may do that for a long weekend in the summer.

We are contemplating going away to San Luis Obispo next weekend for Susan's birthday, staying at the Apple Farm.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of our first date (and our 14th wedding anniversary), so we are going to take a week for that, we just haven't decided what yet.

And of course, we are going to continue to go crazy.

We're talking about taking a road trip in the Fall to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary with some of my pug friends then adding on a Zion camping trip.

We will also go to Yosemite/my Brother's sometime SOON.

I have Bon Jovi in Las Vegas in March of course. Then hopefully in June my nephew will stay a few days with Matt and I (he will be 4 years old) and then I will take a week off work to fly him home and go to Silverwood amusement park.

We have the two day cruise to nowhere in a few weeks, a train trip to Spokane/Seattle in May, most likely a trip to Vegas, followed by a trip to an undetermined location (Hawaii? Tokyo? Who knows?!), a weekend trip to Orlando for fall MA, and, of course, an exciting road trip across the bible belt sometime in "late summer".

Seattle, and Texas next week.
WDW in two weeks (assuming God does not smote me again).
Possible DLR in August.

I wouldn't be surprised if we end up in San Diego for a zoo trip before the end of the year.

So far only Vegas for a friends wedding and maybe San Francisco. I want to go to Nova Scotia before my mom sells the house out there but that's not looking doable this year.

At the moment I'm kind of dreading both cruises but I'm sure my mood will change by the time I'm on them. That's been the case anyway with the last two cruises.

Japan some time in the fall with MIL so she can tour us a bit and show us what needs to be done when she kicks it, probably late September/early October (the trip, not the kicking).

Need to try and fit in a long weekend trip to Niagara Falls.

If the scheduling can work out I'm hoping to fly to Chicago and drive back, just because.

Plenty of weekend of trips I'm sure.

My plans:
- WDW next weekend for the half marathon.
- Cruise to Nowhere later in January.
- Repo from LA to Vancouver and inaugural Alaska cruise in April/May.
- U2 in Montreal in July
- Maybe Fall MA at DL
- Fall MA at WDW Nov. 12

Lots of plans, hopefully all will go well and I'll get to see some of you along the way.

We are hoping we can make a 2 week road trip up to Canada later on this summer.....we'll see how that goes.

It's not looking like I'll be venturing more than 75 miles from the border of California, if that. No immediate plans and few likely, so I'd say at best, a trip to Vegas or camping in Southern Oregon, should my brother plan one and I be able to get away for it.

LA in May is all I have planned right now (unless you count a trip to Foster City this weekend to go to Target) ;)

With the new firm, not sure how much time I can take for LA. The Rudy thing is mid-week and I'd love to extend through the weekend to try and visit DL and see people.
