Shag "Cocktail Hideaway" Reception at DL

I got a post card notification today of an upcoming reception for the release of 5 "Original Lands" art pieces and a "signing opportunity".

Information regarding the "SHAG Cocktail Hideaway" Reception will be available beginning Friday, April 22, 2005. Tickets for the "SHAG Cocktail Hideaway" Reception will go on sale Monday, May 9, 2005 at 9:00 AM PDT via www.disneygallery.com .

In addition, SHAG will appear Saturday, June 25, 2005 for a special meet & greet and signing opportunity in the Disneyana Shop in honor of the "Original Lands" merchandise release.

I finally noticed the merch link.

It's "while supplies last", and leftovers will be sold at Disneyana the next day, but man, we have got to take a shot at getting some of this stuff. GD, check out the "Petite Prints" or the "Dessert Plates"...

The ladies' tee is like the Tiki Room one I wanted to buy but they were out of larges and now they don't sell it anymore. :(

I would like that, the wooden purse, and the tiki mug. I wonder what other stuff is going to be released in Sept.

I usually have Saturdays off, so I'll be in that early morning line-up of swanksters! I have two of the Tiki Room 40th petite prints already (one is also signed by Shag! :cool: ), so the new set of 5 will be a welcome addition! And I must have the Aloha shirt! I will not rest until I get one!

I was thinking about attending the cocktail reception :cheers: , but when I read that "no discounts on merchandise will be offered" :rolleyes: , I figured my $150 would go further if I just got the merchandise I want at Disneyana the following day (gotta love that "B" castmember discount! ;) ). I must admit, though, I am a bit curious about what the "special gift" for attending the event will be. :confused:
