DCA Afternoon

My god, I feel like a real human being again. Spontaneous trip to the resort, "in the know" parking lot (using Toy Story means we've moved from being 2 freeway exits from Disneyland to being just 1 exit away), turning our noses up at the length of the Disneyland entry queue, and running into people randomly (Hi Cherny and BJ!). Damn it's good to have APs again.

It was disappointing to see the entry gate queues at Disneyland stretch well past the Monorail track, but we were hungry anyway, so whatever. And it turned out to be a great choice anyway because we took some advice from friends with a toddler and, after some lunch, headed over to the World of Color viewing area mid-afternoon. There seriously could not be a better place for Theo, he was absolutely thrilled to run around there. Total win. And I got some good shots of the cloud cover coming in over the SFun Wheel.

OMG! Who is that little boy??? It's a little boy, not a baby!

BarTopDancer 02-13-2011 09:37 PM

He's so adorable!

katiesue 02-13-2011 10:44 PM

So cute. We must have missed you guys we were there this afternoon. Per Madz "Theo is even cuter than me!"

Stan4dSteph 02-14-2011 07:38 AM

Looks like it was a perfect day to get out and enjoy the park!

DreadPirateRoberts 02-14-2011 08:50 AM

Had I been there when she said that, I would have responded with "It's not that difficult"

LSPoorEeyorick 02-14-2011 09:11 AM

So cute and BIG!

Betty 02-14-2011 09:46 AM

Adorable!

Gemini Cricket 02-14-2011 12:51 PM

Love the pic. What a cutie patootie.
:)

Moonliner 02-14-2011 12:55 PM

By God! Now I get it.

Theo looks ecstatic running around in that empty section of the park. At long last we know exactly who DCA was designed and built for. The toddler set!

Ghoulish Delight 02-14-2011 01:57 PM

EXACTLY!

Cadaverous Pallor 02-14-2011 08:42 PM

Funny stuff, but to be honest, there were several other families with toddlers hanging out in the same space, along with young couples cuddling and looking at the water.

Kevy Baby 02-14-2011 08:44 PM

Point proven!

lashbear 02-14-2011 10:27 PM

You want to run around the open area at DCA?

RStar 02-14-2011 11:28 PM

Holy crap! Has it been that long? I'm like, wow! That kid looks awfully advanced for a 4 month old! Time goes by so quick! Next month I'll be looking at HS graduation pictures of him!

alphabassettgrrl 02-15-2011 03:44 PM

Love that grin!

Actually, I found it rather appropriate in a weird sort of way.

Hmm, well, at least you said "weird". ;)

CoasterMatt 02-17-2011 02:40 PM

I have nothing to add to this conversation.

HEY!!! Are you suggesting that my head on your son's body is weird??

Some people have no tolerance.

Now I need to see the plastic surgeon and get my old body back.

I think it's a great picture, in a Charlie Brown sort of way....

Snowflake 02-22-2011 09:14 AM

I dunno, I loved it. Brilliant, in fact.

Gemini Cricket 02-22-2011 01:18 PM

The lashbear/Theo pic:

Kevy Baby 02-22-2011 02:12 PM

Who hasn't fantasized about Lashie with the body of a 13-month-old?

SzczerbiakManiac 02-22-2011 02:51 PM

Just you Kevy, just you....

JWBear 02-22-2011 03:04 PM

Not me: I prefer twenty-eight-year-olds

SzczerbiakManiac 02-22-2011 04:00 PM

But Emma Watson is only 20...?
