Here's a sample - I'll put the whole set up some time today (I hope- there's about 370 pics to go through, and I've got family visiting today).

Still have a lot to go through - Wolfy, I don't think I got anything usable of the Monorail, but I'm going to make an extra effort on New Year's Eve.

I think something went horribly wrong in this photo, though.

Did you have to photoshop any of these, or did the color come out that good in-camera? Amazing!

RStar 12-18-2011 05:40 PM

Very nice!

But where's the wide angle that includes the space station?

;)

CoasterMatt 12-18-2011 06:26 PM

I do very few adjustments in Adobe Lightroom - most of that is correcting for aberrations of the lenses I use - I did boost the vibrance just a very slight bit on the castle pics. I do have the camera set up nearly to where I want it, though.

OMG, Matt, you have the best eye! You get the most amazing pictures.

RStar 12-19-2011 07:27 AM

Wow, that goat is looking a bit sad. I bet they didn't expect anyone to take such good pictures of it. Time for a goat trick rehab!

Thanks for all the kind comments. I have to work the real job this week, so I won't have as much time to work on more photos, but I will have some up by the weekend.

The ghost of Michael Jackson?

CoasterMatt 12-19-2011 11:08 PM

What's really funny, is I posted that New Orleans Square pic on a nonDisney fan site, and somebody asked if it was MJ!

I put up 3 more pics tonight-

Funny how when you look at the photos, you see things you don't notice while you're there. Like the camouflage nets on the trees, so they can't be seen from the air.

innerSpaceman 12-20-2011 03:30 PM

Beautiful shots, Matt.

D'uh.

Ok, really, why are there camouflage nets on the Hub Trees?

Ghoulish Delight 12-20-2011 03:36 PM

They're lights.

Gn2Dlnd 12-20-2011 03:36 PM

They spent a lot of money on those trees, what with them being genetically engineered with sparkle lights and all, and they don't want other parks to steal the technology. At night they double as invisibility cloaks so as not to block the views of the fireworks.

Only at night. Durring the day they double as camouflage nets. At least that's what they look like. Thay are starting to show more now that the leaves are turning yellow and brown under the green nets.

Ghoulish Delight 12-21-2011 12:33 AM

I don't think they "double as" camouflage nets. They're camouflaged to make them lest noticeable during the day (the nets, I don't think they're trying to hide the trees from aliens).

lashbear 12-21-2011 02:27 AM

I think they camouflage the trees really well ! Just look at how sparse the park looks from above:

Gn2Dlnd 12-21-2011 06:52 AM

What kind of trees are those, anyhow? Facepalms?

Sorry, I think you're missing my point. I'm jokeing about how bad they look in the photo, while I never noticed them while actually there.
