At Last
 

This thread is coming a little early because tomorrow we leave for 3 night celebration (the details of which remain a secret to CP). But I wanted to make sure I posted this before we go.

Ten years.

Ten years ago (as of Saturday) I followed through on the easiest decision of my life. I said "I do" to a lifetime of joy, passion, and partnership. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't spend time thinking about how truly fortunate I am to have married the perfect person for me. I've been planning our celebration for over 5 months, which has had me dwelling on these 10 years (and the 6.5 years of "dating" that preceded it). It simultaneously seems completely unbelievable and entirely inevitable.

And what is most astounding is that 10 years ago all I could think was, "How can it get any better?" And now, all I can think is, "Will it ever stop getting
better?" The wedding came at a time of transition for us, not only leaving single life behind, but I had just graduated from college and we were just getting acquainted a certain group of friends that, in no small part, have contributed to that feeling of continual improvement of our lives. Still too new to be at the wedding, they were already too important to us not to include them in our joy some way. And, in keeping with what would become a familiar pattern, they helped turn a one-day event into a month long celebration.

And here we are again at a new point of transition, once again with easy decisions to make because I know I've got someone who supports me in every way I need.

Hey i just stumbled upon this new site. What's it about?

6 years? Pshaw; lightweights. Susan and I got married on the 11th anniversary of our first date.

Awwww, congrats! And now you two are a delightful three :)

Nothing much to say here, except a very heartfelt Happy Anniversary, and a big thank you for your friendship and the gift of Awesome Theo, my Pirates bud. He's quite the little Man- you've both done very well. :)

We had an indescribably amazing weekend. So epic that even actions from the office of the PotUS intended to disrupt it failed.

A high point among a multitude of high points was our meal at RM Seafood, where chef/owner Rick Moonen was not only gracious enough to spend a few moments at our table to say hello, but unbeknownst to us quietly asked the kitchen to prepare a dessert sampler for us to celebrate. 100% classy on his part, and a perfect ending to an already memorable meal.

I can't even begin to detail the amazing weekend we had. A fantastic room with a perfect Bellagio fountain view, a helicopter ride over the strip at night, Cirque's Zumanity, no less than three meals at incredible chefs' restaurants, drinks at a rooftop club, lots of "Napping" in the room and time in the pool...it was bliss.

I got to rediscover how thoughtful GD can be. He knows me so well. I couldn't ask for a better husband.

Now I want GD to take me to Vegas.

I was just reading an article the other day, there are supposed to be some really nice printers hitting the market sometime in March.

7 months is a short time to manufacture a printer !

You are of course correct kind sir. May/June would be a more realistic time frame given the complexity of today's printers.
