Fashion meets Disney? I'm probably behind the times on this, but I ran across Disney Bound today. An interesting mix of fashion and Disney. |

Well, if she doesn't already know about it, I'm sure it will soon become a favorite of Morrigoon's |
|
My fav is the Woody outfit but I'm guessing I could find a more reasonably priced alternative for the $679.00 boots. |

LSPE showed me that recently. |

My favorite is the Mary Blair inspired outfit. |

I found this old Luke Skywalker one that I actually, really, want to purchase. However it looks like the shirt no longer exists, which is probably why there's a newer version. Such a bummer, as the first shirt is way better, and I prefer the more contrasted pants too. I do like the boots in the second one though. I may have to hunt down my own perfect version. There are a few Han Solo ones out there too. This concept of a male character that I adore embodied in everyday clothing that looks sexy and yet evocative is PERFECT for me. :D |

Oh ooh. I might have made a mistake. I sent Headliner the link to DisneyBound. Her response: I want them all! |

BTW I finally figured out that Polyvore is the real genesis of this, in that it enables you to design outfits. However don't go to their site, just type "polyvore <nerdy idea>" into google image or pinterest. Like this. Who knew there were so many ways to dress like Kuzco?? |

Granted, I'm stretching the limits of the word "fashion" to infinity and beyond, but have you seen NASA's new space suit? |
|
That is awesome. They can make it whatever color they want, why the eff not? |
|
Damn, I thought Szczer was making a joke but that is the real deal. |
|
I love that they can list "Crisscross apple sauce" (to use the modern term) as one of its features. |

Although it's entirely possible that I'm missing the point of the whole thing. |

So I need some fashion advice. As luck would have it I will be in Disneyland for Galliday: The Oncoming Storm. A Dr. Who dress up day at Disneyland. I'm not big into Cosplay exactly, but as long as I'll be there anyway I thought perhaps pulling together a Disneybound type outfit might be fun. I'm thinking of Lord President Rassilon (the one on the far left) as the inspiration for the outfit and I could use some help. Remember the goal is not to re-create the costume but rather to pull together a nice fashionable outfit that is inspired by it (and would be comfortable to wear for an entire day at Disney in late January) Perhaps something like a brown turtleneck, burgundy sport coat and a single gray/silver glove? |

I have just the thing: |

Fun! Wish I could be there. |

And I am certainly not that dedicated to the idea. |

As a more weather appropriate option how about: Brown T-Shirt Red Over shirt Basic Kakie pants (In Sandstone) Bling |
|
Brown plus red plus bling will go a long way on Galliday. What's Headliner wearing? This question is only appropriate in context. |

However she is not afflicted with the Dr. Who gene so she will be staying in the Disney realm. |
