Club 21?

Looks like there may be a Club 33 for the "common" man as the recent Club 33 renovations may have included an upscale dinning space for non club members. If this is true, I look forward to this new AP lounge for the 60th

I wondered what they were doing to that courtyard. At least it will still be accessible to everyday guests.

If this is true, I wonder why Al didn't break the news?

Isn't Blue Bayou the answer to fine dining in Disneyland?

Alex 12-11-2014 01:19 PM

Only if fine dining is defined as slightly better than TGI Fridays.

I'm hearing that article may be overselling this.

I don't know what to think about that idea. There was a time I would absolutely have thought what a wonderful thing, but now I'm less sure.

It's basically an event space so that corporate groups can hold dinners/parties for groups over 10 people and less than the size where they need to buy out the park. It's not necessarily going to be available for public use. Time will tell.

The LoTaversary?

Ghoulish Delight 12-22-2014 09:34 PM

Have we gone corporate?

Bornieo: Fully Loaded 12-23-2014 12:18 AM

Great, another place that'll snub me...

€uroMeinke 12-23-2014 12:34 AM

I thought you didn't want to go?

Bornieo: Fully Loaded 12-23-2014 02:30 PM

Oh... I wanna go.

You can't; you're snubbed

Ha!

So it looks like Club 33 gets first dibs on the space. And it's too small for most corporate events, only holding about 12 diners. So, it's really going to be mostly larger Club 33 groups that used the trophy room before that space got remade into a larger kitchen.

I saw the original kitchen. My 1950s tract house had more space. It was pitiful and shockingly dismal, and really needed to be expanded. Then when they turned the Disney Gallery into the Dream Suite, they got a little more space. The new kitchen must be nice.

The new area is for group events but it doesn't interest me.

I have access to Club 33 and 1901.

RStar 01-28-2015 08:06 AM

Of course you do....

innerSpaceman 01-30-2015 04:12 PM

That's because Isaac blows Steve Davidson on a regular basis.
