Family Values? Well... his name is Kid...

Conservatives Angered By Planned Kid Rock Gig At Bush Inaugural
http://launch.yahoo.com/read/news/14125631

"[C]onservatives are furious that Rock has been selected to headline a youth concert as part of the festivities surrounding Bush's second inauguration..."

"'If this sex-crazed animal, whose favorite word is the F-word, is allowed to sing at Bush's inauguration this will send a clear message to pro-family Americans that the Republican Party has taken them for a ride and ditched them in the gutter.'"

It's only a shame it took Kid Rock of all people for them to get the message.

And this is for the questions that don't have any answers
The midnight glancers and the topless dancers
The candid freaks, cars packed with speakers
The G's with the forties and the chicks with beepers
The Northern Lights and the Southern Comfort
And it don't even matter if the veins are punctured
All the crackheads, the critics, the cynics
And all my heros in the Methodone Clinic
All you bastards at the IRS
For the crooked cops and the cluttered desks
For the shots of jack and the caps of meth
Half pints of love and the fifths of stress
For the hookers all tricking out in Hollywood
And for my hoods of the world misunderstood
I said it's all good and it's all in fun
Now get in the pit and try to love someone

You hear that? Yea, YOU. YOU who wants to impose your beliefs on the rest of the country. YOU who wants to make the rest of the country live our lives the way YOUR bible says. He says TRY TO LOVE SOMEONE! Try it. Maybe you'll like it.

Whatever gets the message across, dig.

Everytime I see Kid Rock I want to wash his hair. That boy needs a stylist. Although I suppose he's going for the white trash look.

Scrooge McSam 01-12-2005 05:57 PM

He's succeeded brilliantly.

To quote the Oompa Loompas... "I don't like the look of it."

Odd though... I just drooled over the thought of Gaston, where every last inch of him's covered with hair, but when it comes to cranial hair, when a guy lets it go longer than a few inches, I always want to break out a Flo-Bee. Especially when it looks like a long-hair just leaned too close to his Frydaddy...

Flo-Bee's rock.

I love Kid Rock! I think it's the whole bad boy rocker thing going...even though I know if I was left alone with him, with PERMISSION for anything...I wouldn't want to touch him (cause he has slimey hair and probably smells like beef and cheese!)and the illusion would fizzle!

Hahahaha!!!!! :D

He opened for Aerosmith when we saw them, and although I wasn't looking forward to seeing him.....I had a whole new appreciation for him afterward. He really rocked! And although, I was strangely attracted to him after his performance...yeah, not sure he'd be worth the oily beef smell. You hit it on the head with that one!!!
