Bon Voyage Disney Magic
 

So the Disney Magic set sail today on it's inaugural west coast voyage. Thanks to the Commodore, we saw her off. Here are a few pics from the day:

These ships were built in Two halves right?

No, originally three. They found that to be excessive, so they kept the third half in storage in case anything happens to the other two.

Any word about the four quarters?

Only that they're always trying to make a buck.

That ship is a just huge, but amazing how high it sits out of the water.

My brother in law and his family are sailing on it as I type this. They had their resevations for over a year in advance. Good grief why didn't they take me?

I have a friend who's embarking on the cruise tomorrow. I hate him.

Ok, I know. The word hate should not be a part of my vocabulary. There are people who would say I especially shouldn't hate my friend who's leaving on the cruise tomorrow. If either of my grandmothers (the living one or the dead one) heard me proclaim my hate for him, they'd make me wash my mouth out with soap and water. But I can't help it. I hate him.

It's bad enough that he's going on the Disney cruise tomorrow and I'm not. But he had to call me tonight (this morning, actually) at 12:08am to rub my nose in it. First he told me that he's staying in a suite that's better than the one Ricky Lake is staying in. (First he had to refresh my memory about who the hell Ricky Lake is, but whatever.) The he told me that she's staying in the Roy Disney Suite. He's staying in the Walt Disney Suite. Yeah, I hate him.

Then, every time I sobbed, "take me with you!" He just laughed. Is it any wonder why I hate him?

God, I don't do well with jealousy.
