A little workplace haiku
 

Chair, plastic, on wheels
Armless, not ergonomic
At desk: ow, my back

Open the bottom
Scrape the dirt out with my nails
Please upgrade the mice!

If there's a keyboard
tray, it hits you in the knees.
Chairs are comfy though.

Adjustable chairs!
Perfectly fits lower back.
Armrests are nice too.

One cat is real cute
Two kittens are better
Five at home, perfect.

peed on yet again
baby love is oh so sweet
Indi pooped outside

You must spread mojo
around before giving it
to Tracilicious.

Poop equals mojo
Envision Indi squatting
Somehow makes my day.

Off to work soon, bleh.
Only 4 hours, yet I'm
pissed it's Saturday.

It was funnier
than you think. Indi exclaimed
Mommy! Me dog poop!

L-O-freaking-L
Talk of poop and puppy dogs
Also makes me laugh

Laughed at this story
Read it again and again
Funny every time!

Did you laugh right then?
Must be tough to discourage
kids while giggling.

Send the wrong message
and catastrophe ensues:

There once was a recruiter from Re/Max
Who had all of the charm of the Sleestacks
She picked up the receiver,
Said, "Your firm, wouldja leave 'er?"
But this chick the agents would all beat back

Okay, I'll be good.

Call record would be
Better if I picked up phone
Not typing haiku

Stare at screen blankly
My Brain ceases all function
phone rings I snap back

*snaps*

Coworker injured
Should feel sorry but it means
Much more work for me.

Is that a "Land of the Lost" reference? How cool! :cool: Sssssss...

I sit in a box
Knees bent, back hunched, a captive
Four more hours to go

The pain - a hundred
Incontinent camels with
full stomachs. My legs.

Desperately, I
Search for signs of life. Only
this oasis, LoT.

The battle is won
Lord caffiene is my master
When great boredom lurks

A fire licks the limb
Of this poor old knotted tree
but why? My poor leg.

Old salt tying knots
To hold hurricane-force winds
But why my left leg?

My back, the source of
So much misery and pain
I need a new chair
