LoT - Swanky merchandising?

Am I alone in my admiration for the retro-cool LoT logo at the top of these pages? I think not. I'm thinking my morning cup of java would be so much more enjoyable if I were able to enjoy the caffeine from a LoT mug with this swanky design. :coffee: :snap:

Anyone else have any thoughts on LoT merchandise? Perhaps it will encourage additional support, too!

How's about a nice box of LoT brand pancake mix? :)

lizziebith 09-30-2005 09:48 AM

Nobody ever explained the pancake thing to me...

But yes! I love the logo too...CafePress can do it: I use them for tees for another club. They have lots of merchandise -- mugs, mousepads, totes, etc.

I've been waiting for Cafe Press to alter their process so they can print on Black shirts. While the LoT Logo looks great on white, black is just that much swankier.

I'll give them a call again and find out where they're at with things.

Maybe I'm wrong and other would prefer white? In that case, I'll get working. Please let me know your thoughts.

I don't have an opinion on the shirt, because I probably wouldn't wear it, but I LOVE those canvas tote bags. Love, love, love them. And mugs.

Black is tres swanky, but I would wear white and be not tres swanky.
I agree wholeheartedly with Eliza about the tote bags!
Anything to help support our little corner of swankiness on the internet is
A-okay by me. :snap:

Well, then. I guess I will get going on this little project then!

Blue. I like blue shirts.

Morrigoon 09-30-2005 11:32 AM

They have green shirts... and collared shirts that can be worn for "dress casual" at work ;)

Ghoulish Delight 09-30-2005 11:49 AM

Doesn't look half bad against blue for that matter.

I love the canvas bag idea. That should look really good, actually, as the page background here is a faint off-white leaning towards canvasy to begin with.

Morrigoon 09-30-2005 11:50 AM

GD: I'm pretty sure that they can't do white if the shirt's not white. How would it look if the letters were the background color?

Actually, the area around the letters inside the circles is the background color.

Oh, unless you mean the blue background in the above link. As is, they're off-white, not white. Tweaking colors within the logo to deal with those kinds of restrictions would take some doing by the resident logo-creater.

Unfortunantely, CP is limited in colors of shirts or other items, which is why we haven't gone ahead with anything thus far. I am setting up a store with a bunch of merch to choose from, but there's not a while lot of colors to pick from. They do not print on dark colors at all. The tote bag will be included as will a host of other things. Give me a week or so to finish setting up shop and we'll at least have a start for now.

EH... you're such a bag lady! ;)

I'd get one of those swanky mugs for my new job!
