Anything going on at DL in February?
 

I'm asking since I will be in LA late in February 2006. It's been eons since I've been. I'm ashamed to say the last visit I was in DL, the new ride was Space Mountain (the first incarnation). Isn't that sad?

Anyway, I'm thinking I need to make time for a trip there. Maybe meet up with some of you there, as well! :D

While there may be some rides down (oh ZAPP!) the crowds should be glorious - especially mid-week. There will still be a lot of new things to see and experience.

I'm up for it! I love being able to experience Toontown as a ghosttown.

I tried checking Disneyland.com for info on closures but they apparently don't have it...it claims Mansion will still be closed for HMH removal into March.

Cool! This will be like a personal guided tour! :-)

I'm hoping Pirates will be running. The lack of crowding will be lovely! Just not a full house on King Arthur's Carousel :-( But, you've been there and done that now!

Sorry, I should have added a :rolleyes: - there's no way it'll be down that long after the holidays. I think they haven't set up the info online yet.

The only thing I know is that Pirates is supposed to take an extended break at that point.

I believe Pirates is supposed to close after March 12...

Looks like the date of my trip has now been finalized to the week of 2/26-3/4/2006.

So according to Mickey Lumbo's schedule of proposed closings/repair/refurbishment, I'll be sitting pretty! WooHoo!

According to info posted on other sites, Mansion is down not just for the switchover back from HMH but as part of a regular refurb, which is why it's down so long.
