Space Mountain trip in 3D

Made in roller coaster tycoon I believe it said. Found it on Google video in the popular section so maybe you've seen it before. Thought it was cool though.

Pretty neat

Have you seen the DLP Space Mountain recreated in No Limits (A fairly sophisticated rollercoaster simulation program)?

Matt, if you have link, I'd love to see that.

I really dug the effects in Betty's link but the track layout did not seem right to me. I watched it without sound, don't know if that affects anything...

Yes. It's much quieter without sound.

I thought it was pretty cool. And having logged in a considerable number of hours in this game, let me say that it's a lot of work to put something like that together.

Having said that, I thought it was pretty anti-climactic. Surely, they could have done something at the end to spice it up a bit. Also, I agree that the track leaves a bit to be desired, although it can be very difficult to get it to do exactly what you want, due to the limitations of the game.

I give it a B+ :)

I must say, it was fun to ride Space while eating a messy patty melt and onion rings. Charlie thought the ride was a bit too much for him. He's probably too big for the seat. ;)

The ride seemed so smooth and wonderful but they used the old music. That was a total disconnect for me. Old ride = lots o' pain.

Anyways, I'm glad someone spend hours and hours of time putting that together so I could ride it at home while eating. Thanks!

I've got the No Limits track of Terre De La Lune on my server, but it requires the full version of No Limits to use (http://www.nolimitscoaster.com)

Okay... that's kind of cool.
But I need to go lie down now, I'm nauseous.

I can ride the rides.... no problem. But for some reason... wow.. that made me dizzy.

wendybeth 01-14-2006 10:51 PM

That lasted a lot longer than the actual ride.

(Still, very cool!)

I drank some white wine whilst riding.......:D

You need to head to Oktoberfest in Germany - lots of booze and wildly spinning rides :D

Okay, I did one of those click on thread and walk away and come back and read dealies and totally forgot about the original post in this thread and was wondering how NA managed to sneak that much food on the ride (and why?!) and then the cat?

Clearly I am up past my bedtime.
