Is anyone still playing?

I'm still on my first ascension, but I'm almost done. If it weren't for gourdcore I'd be done already. I'm not sure what I'll ascend as next time. This time I'm a sauceror under a mysticallity sign. Next time I'll be a pastamancer under a ? sign. Gourdcore is taking forever. I thought I was done once I completed the 21 can lid quest, but he still wants more.

The clan is kicking butt warfare wise. We're pretty consistently on a leaderboard. I've been neglecting my money making multi, but I'll pick back up again soon to fund the war effort.

How's everyone else doing?

Also, I'm really wishing I had ascended teetotaler. There is little alcohol for HC under mysticality. Next time I might go oxycore. We'll see.

I haven't played in about a month. Time to sign on again!!

Both of my characters are stuck at about level 7. Sometimes I sign on just to make sure they aren't deleted. I never got my Mr. Accessories and I donated and sent several follow-up email. I do, however, wear my sabre-toothed lime tee-shirt proudly...

I'm still playing! I just ascended again last night with my main character, and I'm forgoing hardcore this round so I can collect a march hat and a ninja pirate zombie robot. My multi already has its NPZR so it just needs a march hat and to ascend already. I've been a little focused on trophies.

I stopped a while ago, right around the time of the server transfer (spent my free time at work working on that instead of playing KoL). I haven't really been motivated to go back. I was stuck in a rut avoiding ascending. I popped in once, noticed that petrified time prices had gone way up again.

teehee! At times the NPZR quotes some RHPS and gives you toast.

I pop on from time to time. do barrels, get hammered and do a bit o' gambling. for a lark I'll get naked and go fight some Yeti's but not in persuit of anything really.

I think I hit L14 last night in the gym.

I felt that way when I was avoiding ascending too. Ascending breathed new life into my game though. Hardcore is challenging and fun, and the new content is great. Perhaps it was just playing the mall that was getting so stale for you?

The hidden temple will give you way better stats then the gym will.

If anyone plays, feel free to go to clan chat and keep me company. If I'm not there, chances are I'm chatting in valhalla while listening to clan, so just say something and I'll appear. You can find out if I'm online by typing /whois tracilicious. I miss the good old days when clan chat was full.

GD, what happens to the clan if you let your character get deleted?

I'm still playing- got three characters going, one for permanent Hardcore skills and the other two just for fun and to get stuff for the Clan stash. I need to not ascend and just build up so I can make more sizaeable donations, but it's so tempting to add to the skills list.:D

I forget how to access clan chat from my multi's- what command do you type in? Wendolyn is logged, but Ninja and Mordread aren't.

Dunno, but I just logged in and did a couple things, so that should avoid inactivity deletion, right?

Yeah, but It wouldn't be worth it to me since I'm doing so many hardcore runs. I'll buy it at the mall when I'm done w/hardcore for a while.

He and my sis were over today, and he commandeered my computer while I was perming her hair. Before I knew it, he'd created a character and was at level three! He's a very smart kid and his mom said it was alright, so I offered to mentor him at KoL. He's already got tons of stuff, the little stinker.

BUT... I did just get Kingdom Hearts 2 for the PS2 (all under the clever ruse that it was for my son from the "easter bunny") and I think I will now be busy with that until oh, I guess about....... December. (Now that is a game I could easily devout 120 hours to.)

For those who might care: The Penguins appear to be back. Possibly in HazMat suits.

Yeah, a small meteorite hit Grimace and a chunk of it landed on the beach. Suddenly, Penguins were building something and threatening anyone who came near. Little bastards- I got my knee-capping stick ready..........

I'm seriously considering the June item of the month - Astral Badger! Who drops Astral Mushrooms! And has a Badger Badge!

I seriously need to pick back up with playing. I'm level 10 though and I just need to go around and collect sorceress items until I get to level 11. I feel so lost, I've forgotten everything.

So, now the mafia penguins have an auction house (meat sink) and chow mein is now made in a TOTALLY different way that also requires a seal clubber skill. Reagent potions are also different.

*pouts* I lost my original character and now only have my multi Artymartini. At least she has a sabretoothed lime! But I work too much now so hardly play.

I looked where I thought was everywhere and didnt find them. And I found a place I got kicked out of.
Come to think of it, that might have been a penguin that told me to go away.

They've also built a perfectly legal and in no way connected to nefarious activities Raffle House, and intend to donate the proceeds to a ....'charity'.

I don't quite understand the chow meins.

I was on last night and the night before! I didn't see you, Ponine. :( The raffle house is on the right side of town. Because, of course, it's totally legit.

The new chow meins are totally weird. I've heard you can still make things like spaghetti with skullheads the same way, and those were easier anyhow, so I may just keep on with that.

oooooooooooooooooooooh, I didnt go into town!! I was looking everywhere else, but I never went into town because I knew I didnt have anything to train. Silly me.

By the way - it's suppose to be Halloween on the 16th. Your opportunity to stock up on cola grenades...

Sounds like the Pasta and Sauceror skills are going super-advanced as well- still haven't figured out how or where, but I'm only running one multi in that are right now so I guess I'll find out as I level up. It's a permanent skill on all my characters, but the others are doing Disco and Turtletamer at the moment, so I will have to go back (probably) and acquire the advanced skills. There's a thread at the KOL forums on this, but I haven't really checked it out yet.

The penguins make me nervous- I may have to load up on those cola bombs.....

Is there a particular time you (or anyone else) are usually on? Monday - Thursday I'm usually on about 5:45 - 7:40. My class is 6 - 7:40. Coincidence? I think not.... The rest of the week it's hit or miss for me.

I completed my first hardcore ascension (well, my first ascension ever) last night! Started pastamancer as a teetotaler, mysticality sign again. I drank so little this run I figured may as well go for teetotaler. I'm out of adventures now though, and rather bored.

Congrats on your hardcore ascension! I haven't had the nerve to take one of the other paths. I'm stalling on this run to get the familiar weight trophies and the sex change trophy.

I wish I had done the familiar weight trophies my first ever run. I was so close. I took my volleyball this time, but I'm missing my GPOAS.

If you've never been, Comic Con is really, really cool. I mean, it's cool even if you have been, but that's beside the point. It's more than just comic books -- exhibitors from all kinds of other genres of things show up: video games, toys, internet sites, TV shows, books, movies, independent artists, and so on. Some folks get dressed up as their favorite characters, and at times you feel like you are in the Mos Eisley Cantina. (Han shot first, y'know.) Besides the exhibitors, there are tons of panel discussions, demos, and whatnot. It's really fun. Last year Skully met Joss Whedon and Seth Green. Just sayin'.

We'll make an effort to keep y'all updated with any more information that comes our way. (But, given the whole time-machine-nefariousness, that means we'll likely make an update some time in August.) Hope to see you there!

We are in Artist's Alley, table BB10. All the AA tables have that sort of designation. I don't know about Small Press, but the KOL # looks like a regular booth to me. The map we were given just shows our area of the hall, but it looks (from the numbering) like the KOL booth is waaaay over at the other end! Still, I will try to stop by, if I can get away!

The lower numbers last year were what I fondly call the flea market end. The furthest away from the "Studio" booths.

Actually we were just talking yesterday about how much earlier we're going to start this year...last year we thought we were going to miss preview night altogther! But that how con is -- we're used to it! Those concession lines are really the worst though...

We are getting a new system again this year. (Dont throw anything at me!)
and we hope, and we think, that our lines will be shorter.
I've got some new staff, some returning folks, and some new attitudes.

But yes, consessions lines bite.

Oooh, and new level (16) and a new quest! The janitor at the Smacketeria wants me to pick up some take-out for him at the White Citadel, near Whitey's Grove. A new 'Road to the Citadel' opened up, and there are lots of new items, etc- here's an example:

In all this time I have YET to ascend yet.

So, if you haven't been on in a while - lots of new stuff. New things come out every Tuesday after rollover. And this past Tuesday -8 new zones! New armor, things, food, familiar that it will take forever to make, etc...

I'm busily going through the new zones with my main and multi's. Fun stuff!

of course, now there's a new familiar and yet one more thing for me to do before ascending.
