If the next movie is going to be at the Academy then Affleck is way too old to play Kirk at that age.

There has to be someone better for the lead role, Kirk or not. Afleck already ruined the Jack Ryan role. What's next? Indiana Jones?

I remember thinking the same of Spock. Then, only one horrible movie later and he was back! :)

I think Jim Carrey would make an outstanding Spock.

I'm so stressed today but I'm having fun giggling about who could play Trek characters. Great escapism.
