Anybody else watching this dreck?

I frikkin forgot about the Simpsons and Family Guy season finalies and watched this dreck. My mom was bugging me to watch TV with them tonight (I've been staying with them for a few days) so I gave in. What was I thinking? Yet it was such a disaster (pun intended) that I couldn't look away.

This person is going to die. Now they are, now he is. Ooops Bye bye, you're going to die. I love made for TV movies. They are hillariious. And the effects. They need to take a lesson from Peter Jackson.

I think my favorite was "Nuclear Train" with Rob Lowe. Runaway train in the Rockies headed toward Denver carrying nuclear weapons. If the train crashes, they'll explode.

Who care that isn't how they work.

And it was pathetically horrid acting, like every made for TV movie.

There's no such thing as a 10.5 earthquake.

The .5 means EXTRA SHAKY GOODNESS!

That's one of the things that makes it even more fun - it's impossible!

so true. one of the 'worst of the worst' and sci-fi just LOVES playin' that horrid bit of crap again and again.
must have purchased the rights to it for a six pack and some doritos.

Yeah, a six pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon, and a mini bag of Doritos - any more than that, and they really got ripped off.

Awwww, I missed it.

I mock my mother in law mercilessly because she was honestly scared that "Nuclear Train" could happen. She has since seen the light.

Another "good" one was....The Beast?.....with the guy from CSI starring it in. It was about a giant squid that was a bit angry that its baby was caught in a fishing net and decides to wreak havoc on a small fishing community.

I prefer spawn of satan movies, myself. Bonus points if they involve a girls' school.

The shot one of those at my high school. Straight to video, I believ it was called "Hell High School". Never managed to find it, but damn was it fun finding fake shotgun shell casings around campus and seeing the occasional hot cheerleader chick going into the gym or auditorium.

I went to high school in Texas. That sounds like an average day, except for the "fake" part....

ditto for my inner city so-cal upbringing. yup yup.

Napa Valley. Napa High School. Beautiful and as far from hell as is humanly possible.

And then you moved to Phoenix.......:p

TV is lame.

You're just jealous you missed 10.5 Apocalypse and didn't have a moive filmed at your school. :P

Bill and I laughed ourselves sick last night. I don't know if we'll be able to take the rest Tuesday night.

But what happened to Amy?!?!!?

We chose to go out, have a nice dinner, and do some shopping last night. So we didn't see the 2nd half. Was it as bad as the 1st half?

Worse. But I had to see it.

I think I have a new favorite title, though I can't bring myself to watch it. On the sci-fi channel tonight is a movie called "Mansquito".

The description is exactly as the title sounds.
