It's effin HOT

The first real warm spell and I'm just SO not ready for it to be 90+ and humid.......

Thank God the LoT is a cool place to be

Gemini Cricket 05-29-2006 10:35 AM

Same here. Too darn hot.
90 degrees + for us, too.
Lots of humidity, too.

Matterhorn Fan 05-29-2006 10:39 AM

UV index of 9 here.

I'm going swimming, but not until after the sun goes down.

Scrooge McSam 05-29-2006 10:46 AM

87 degrees, 57% humidity, rained twice already and will again later.

Oh well, at least the impatiens are in the ground, FINALLY

Moonliner 05-29-2006 10:48 AM

Our neighborhood pool opened this weekend, bring on the heat I say.

Snowflake 05-29-2006 11:12 AM

Just had a cold shower before I head off the BBQ I'm going to (chocolate marble cheesecake anyone?)

I'll be wearing sunblock

Prudence 05-29-2006 12:21 PM

It's been raining all weekend. Might hit 60. Summer doesn't exist here.

Et tu, Pru?

(I just like saying that).

Weather sucks here as well- typical Memorial Day stuff. It was in the mid-nineties just a week or so ago, and now I'm tempted to turn the heat on.

scaeagles 05-29-2006 02:39 PM

We only hit 88 on Saturday. Tha's in Phoenix.

Not Afraid 05-29-2006 02:52 PM

Beautiful, sunny, breezy, perfect.

I love impatiens- every year I get a hanging basket of New Guinea impatiens and they seem to hang on really well, despite our extremes in temp and my benign neglect.

Matterhorn Fan 05-29-2006 03:22 PM

We need rain.

I'm tired of hearing about fires.

Freaky Tiki 05-29-2006 05:25 PM

Its only May and in freakin' Minnesota, can anyone explain why the thermometer said 98 degrees yesterday? WHY??

wendybeth 05-29-2006 05:41 PM

Global warming.

scaeagles 05-29-2006 05:45 PM

Is that why it was only 88 in Phoenix in late May?:p

wendybeth 05-29-2006 05:51 PM

Yup.

That, and your pact with SATAN.

Ponine 05-29-2006 07:00 PM

Snowflake, for what its worth, yesterday was warm, not hot, I wore suncreen, and I have a burn to beat all burns.

It may not be 90 degrees here... but I feel like it is

Capt Jack 05-29-2006 07:35 PM

Yard work here. tons of it (literally). erm....so like, I sorta....forgot the sunscreen and stuff.
80's easy at my place.....lotso direct sunlight. somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 hours worth

got a feeling tomorrow is gonna be....itchy

Ponine 05-29-2006 07:58 PM

I hope for your sake you get itchy.
I'm no where close to itchy yet.

NickO'Time 05-30-2006 01:34 AM

It was hot here last week, but then all the sudden we had two days of rain, then went straight into breezy 70 degree weather it was really nice. :)

I know for a fact though this wont last long. ;)

Snowflake 06-16-2006 03:05 PM

It's effin HOT again. This is something I am SO not going to miss, hot and humid! Right now, just effin HOT, for the next five days. So I will remain, inside, packing, in the blessed AC and trying to keep

Not Afraid 06-16-2006 04:06 PM

It's Africa Hot today! And, I'v been outside in it most of the day.

AllyOops! 06-16-2006 04:43 PM

Because it was 98 degrees outside?

lizziebith 06-16-2006 09:09 PM

9 pm and it's 87 in my bedroom. O summer, you are here, and I declare that I don't have to like you.

Not Afraid 06-16-2006 09:10 PM

100 degrees and I was next to the ocean. :(

Gotta hate that. I'm beyond grateful I have AC, otherwise I'd be dead.
