Surfin' In the Backyard
 

I installed a wireless router here at home last night. Right now 'm sitting in the chaise, by the pond, on my laptop. Happy as a clam. :cheers:

Cool! My apartment complex has wireless, so I think I can take my laptop to lounge by the pool. I haven't tested it yet though. :)

My husband loves his wireless. He can now surf/work from any room in the house and most of the yard.

Except when my connection goes wonky (need a different router), wireless rocks! I can't imagine going back to a wired connection at home.

It’s simply marvelous, darling… but the boyfriend wouldn’t have it – hates frou-frou Victorian. The upholstery is red, however. How’d you guess?

Interestingly, we can connect to no less than three other wireless networks from our condo. Unfortunately, GusGus's computer keeps trying to connect to all of them and it keeps interupting her connections. I'm not sure what I need to do to tell the computer: "only connect to THIS network."

I made darn sure ours was secure, but it appears I am the only one.

How freakin' ironic is it that my network took a dump just after I posted the above message?!?

Yes, mine is secure also. I made a point of making sure of that.
