I don't think the nicknames are inappropriate at all if they have a relationship that allows for it. I can't imagine him referring to Kim Jong Il as "Long Jong Il-ver" or anything like that.

What's so sad, after seeing Blair's poodle act, Pootie-poot's belly kissing bit, and Long Jong Il-ver's (thanks, Shingles) impressive drowning of half his arsenal, is that Bush's idiocy seems to fit right in with the rest of the world's leaders. This man has squandered the prestige of the American presidency and reduced our country to equal (and in some cases, irrelevant) standing in the rest of the world.
