OOOOOhhhh... A Valentine ! for ME !!!!!

Blush, Shock, Gasp !  :birdy:

I got a valentine in the post today. A REAL for true gorgeous valentine from a swinging hep cat from this very board !!!!!

NO !!! I'm not telling who.... wild horses couldn't drag it out of me...

Mojo points for your guesses though..... :D

Cheers,
Lash "Valentine" Bear

PS: Greg approves, BTW.

blueerica 01-31-2005 07:35 AM

Hmmm... It would have to be someone who might have access to your mailing address.

My first instinct would be Not Afraid.

Mousey Girl 01-31-2005 08:48 AM

...ms?

Cadaverous Pallor 01-31-2005 08:51 AM

They were early, whoever it was. So that rules out Not Afraid. ;)

Ghoulish Delight 01-31-2005 09:14 AM

Hmmm, either € (being the only one to have actually met you in person) or Lickey ('cause he's just that sweet) would be my guesses.

Ponine 01-31-2005 09:32 AM

Can I guess and say my son?
Its not a fair guess, cause his is ready to go, but we havent actually mailed it yet. I was waiting to confirm LB's address.

MickeyD 01-31-2005 03:36 PM

Was it from Mrs. & Mrs. Claire & Ally?

blueerica 01-31-2005 07:23 PM

HRmmmm... Must ponder further...

And yes, upon further thought and confirmation, it could not be NA.

The mystery will be solved, my friends.. The mystery will be solved!

€uroMeinke 01-31-2005 07:29 PM

SzczerbiakManiac is my guess...

belleh5 01-31-2005 07:30 PM

I already got my Valentine present from my bf.

DisneyFan25863 01-31-2005 07:38 PM

Why do I have a feeling of deja vu? Seems like this happened a month or so ago :D

blueerica 01-31-2005 07:41 PM

Something to this effect....

€uroMeinke 01-31-2005 07:41 PM

Ya know - whoever it is, sure is making the rest of us look bad...

Not Afraid 01-31-2005 07:44 PM

Santa Go Home!

blueerica 01-31-2005 07:53 PM

Hahaha... he'll sneak in when you're sleeping! Better keep those doors & windows locked!

Mousey Girl 02-01-2005 12:31 AM

No, that was my gift to him. His wrestling show was at this place called Frank & sons in the City of Industry. He got me this POTC movie scull, that I can hang on the wall.

~MS~ 02-01-2005 01:30 AM

*major sigh* I wish I were our huggable bears valentine, but I just bought our cards today.....I agree with seamonkey, whoever it is has made the rest of us look bad :(

No no....that person was way too early. I think they look bad for getting the timing totally wrong. :p

Plus, since when is it a requirement that we send everyone Valentine's cards? I get one for my husband and that's it. I suppose I'd get something for a child if there was one in my life.

Maybe I'll just get it over with here: I love you guys, you are all my Valentines, or something. <3 <3 <3

Honey, I thought you wanted to send out Strip-O-Grams! That's why I totally passed on having a Hallmark Moment. I mean, the oiled-up Santas were such a hit at Christmas time!

Sigh. Time to send back the buffed out, ripped, glistening bo hunks in skin tight speedos and fireman hats.

Or I can just keep them for us..

:D :p ;)

I'll also be sharing Rob as a Valentine, too! :)

No no, go ahead and send them. :D

Not Afraid 02-01-2005 02:47 PM

Yes. I could use a valentine like that just about now.

lashbear 02-01-2005 05:27 PM

Make mine 'Extra Large' thanks.

Matterhorn Fan 02-01-2005 05:56 PM

That card wasn't sent by an eastcoaster, was it?

Oh, I seemed to have missed that tidbit of info. So was it you, then, who sent the valentine?

And it's "Swanker".

I was waiting to see if you would notice! Hehehehe... :D :D :D

I still remember lots of special stuff - like quiet getting-to-know-you chats over lunch & milk at the Village Haus (that's the one in fantasyland, isn't it?) and learning how to pronounce rancho zocalocomotive thingy restaurant, and discovering what the letters on that mirror in the Mad Hatter Shop really spell..... It was a Marvellous time - I wish you could join us in Tokyo too !

I'll be posting a Roll-call about 5 weeks out.....

If there's milk involved, it must be SM.:snap:

lashbear 02-02-2005 08:17 PM

Good guesses, but no-ones doscovered the secret swank-mirer yet ! Hehehehehe.

Ghoulish Delight 02-02-2005 08:23 PM

SacTown?

lashbear 02-02-2005 08:46 PM

Nope ! :(

€uroMeinke 02-02-2005 08:51 PM

Tracilicious?

libraryvixen 02-03-2005 12:03 AM

Valentines are always nice to get. So, to whomever sent Lashbear the Valentine... :) May cupid shoot you in the arse!!

lashbear 02-03-2005 12:21 AM

€: Nope ! Hehehehe.

LibraryVixen: I hope cupid DOES shoot that person in the arse ! :D

blueerica 02-03-2005 07:29 AM

So many good possibilities, but I just give up on answering!!

I can't torture myself with these sorts of things.... ;) Hehehehe..

But will you ever tell us who sent the Valentine?

lashbear 02-03-2005 08:18 AM

Allright.... it was.................

.... Tell ya in the morning... Hweheheheheehehe. *nighty nght*

lashbear 02-03-2005 07:18 PM

Ladies... you tease.

OK, here's your first clue.... it was someone who has posted on LOT. :p

lashbear 02-03-2005 07:31 PM

Oops - you already got that clue... OK - next clue is....... the mystery valentine is FEMALE !

Okay, I usually don't quote myself..

However, I'm reading the Board & this Thread from my Mom & Stepdad's house! I was showing my avatar to my little brother, Rob, when he saw my post and said "can you please scroll back? I saw my name!"

I explained "Rob" was our very own Lashbear! :) I then turned to my little brother Rob ( he's actually not so little anymore! He's suddenly 16 & plays basketball! He towers over me  ) & said, "you can be my Rob Valentine, too!" He just looked over at me, and completely surprised me by giving me the BIGGEST hug.

I melted and almost got choked up!

So I have two "Rob Valentines" that I just absolutely love! :) :)

Mousey Girl 02-04-2005 08:26 AM

grrrr...You are enjoying this torture waaaaay too much! :p ;)

lashbear 02-04-2005 04:59 PM

I don't know, but I could contract renal failure waiting for people to guess who !

...There's a blatant clue ! :snap:

Ghoulish Delight 02-04-2005 05:02 PM

Oh, so this is someone with self injurious desires...

(I was going to guess her, but for some reason I thought someone already did...but I think I was thinking of €'s tracilicious guess)

€uroMeinke 02-04-2005 08:21 PM

Hmmm renal failure - Kidneys? Urinary tract infections? I only know male swankers with kidney stones. Maybe it's just someone pissy?

Ghoulish Delight 02-04-2005 10:31 PM

Perhaps you should go somewhere where you can get a book for free for a short time and read about renal failure. (okay, if you don't get it now...)

€uroMeinke 02-04-2005 10:52 PM

Gosh darn I'm vexed

lashbear 02-05-2005 04:59 AM

Hehehehe but no-one's said the right words yet........ :p

Sarah: "Say your right words," the goblins said, "and we'll take the baby to the Goblin City, and you will be free." But the girl knew that the King of the Goblins would keep the baby in his castle forever and ever and ever, and turn him into a goblin. So the girl suffered in silence. Until one night when she was tired from a day of housework and she was hurt by the harsh words of her stepmother, and she could no longer stand it. (Toby cries) Oh alright, alright! (she picks him up) Knock it off -- come on. Stop it! Stop it! I'll say the words!
Third Goblin: She's going to say it!
Fourth Goblin: Say what?
Second Goblin: Shut up!
First Goblin: You shut up.
Sarah: No I mustn't. I mustn't say...
First Goblin: Listen- she's going to say the words!
Sarah: I can bear it no longer! Goblin King, Goblin King, where ever you may be, come take this child of mine far away from me!
Goblins: Awww!
Second Goblin: That's not it.
First Goblin: Where'd she learn that rubbish? It doesn't even start with "I wish!"
Sarah: Oh I wish I did know what to say to make the goblins take you away.
First Goblin: (mockingly) "I wish the goblins would come and take you away right now." That's not hard is it?

Mousey Girl 02-05-2005 08:14 AM

Now quoting my favorite movie is just not right!!

blueerica 02-05-2005 08:36 AM

LOL -- Well, I'm glad the mystery's solved...

Or at least I think it is.. I'm keeping it to myself, in case viewers haven't been tuning in..

Gemini Cricket 02-05-2005 10:05 AM

I know who it is, I know who it is!

I'd throw my guess into the arena, but I want to check out this thread from time to time to see people stumped. Shhh, quiet now.

:D

Mousey Girl 02-05-2005 12:44 PM

Or, "swanster" if you'd rather not sound like a penis. :D It wasn't me, I didn't even know people sent out Valentines. I'd guess MickeyLumbo or Sczerbiak. If, I could though, Lashie, I'd sent you big scrunches in the mail. Here's a bird instead. :birdy:

ETA: oops! I guess I shouldn't skip around in threads! I think library vixen was guessed on page 1.

lashbear 02-08-2005 06:05 PM

libraryvixen 02-08-2005 10:30 PM

Hallmark and I are friends... good friends. I still send out valentines, and halloween cards, and sometimes... if I'm in rare form, easter cards.

lashbear 02-09-2005 06:45 AM

Well, I guess that's the end of this thread then. :p ;)

Nephythys 02-09-2005 12:05 PM

:( (heehee- no really.....I don't celebrate Black Monday anyway)
