Not that this news is particularly shocking, but I suppose better late than never. :rolleyes:

Years ago, at the height of N*SYNC's fame, my sister (she's actually my stepmom, but we're so close in age that we're practically sisters) had girlfriends that were friendly with the band. I remember mentioning how I thought Lance was the cutest, and upon hearing his name, one of the girls remarked that he was gay.
As time passed, and I'd occasionally hear Lance's name, I had hoped he was being true to himself and happy. That's what's most important! Actually, what really matters is what Joey Fatone is up to these days. As creator of the world's biggest N*SYNC shrine and proud wearer of my home-made "HO-ey for Joey" tee-shirt, I need to know. :p ;) :D |
The Munchkin was way into N*SYNC when she was about 4 - we had the entire marionette collection. Those were way creepy.

The only thing shocking to me is that it is Lance and not JC (my favorite allegedly gay *NSYNC boy). I just can't believe how much newstime this is receiving. Where are our tips on surviving this Heatwave 2006 or the latest middle east updates? I am glad Lance has finally come out so he can be his true self, but please, let's move on.

I must say he was one of my favorites.
I wonder if people realize that a ton of men in Hollywood and the recording industry are gay. They're totally closeted to protect their careers, but lead these hidden lives. |

I am a newbie here. I am a guy who has 3 kids and a couple of ex-wives.
So I am not Sub la Gay. I was a theater major in college, though, so I am an honorary member of the gay community. Sort of like how I was dubbed an honorary Jew one Christmas eve in NYC when I lived there and my spouse & kid were visiting CA. I fell in with a group of Jewish buddies in a tavern who meet and bar-hop every X-Mas eve, dubbing it "Jews' Night Out". To which I say: Maazel Tov! :cheers: But back to Lance & Reichen: I say their Odd Couple needs an appearance by the Polish Bicycle Squad aka The Polish Sausages. |
