Pug Puppy Pictures
My pugs, Tinker bell and Mojo (yes, that really is his name), proudly present their first litter of puppies.
Here is a link to the few pictures I have taken and uploaded. She was pregnant with 9 visible on the x-ray, 8 of which survived birth (she had a c-section yesterday), then we lost one this morning, Tink killed it (no idea why). So we have 3 boys and 4 girls at the moment, hopefully they'll keep on thriving! Here's a sample: ![]() |
Awwww....

Cuuuuuuuuuuuttttte! :)
|
How cute! Congrats, and sorry about the lost little one.
|
Very cute! I didn't know they gave dogs C- Sections! Wow!
|
AWWW! Is that little one going to be black? I LOVE black pugs.
|
OMG too adorable. I love pugs. If I was going to have a dog I'd get a pug. They are just too cute and sweet!!!
|
I have that Disney blanket!
Those puppies are tooo cute. I especially love their little feet (paws?) My best to them all and congrats to Tink (especially) and Mojo (on a somewhat more diminished level). |
We think Mojo did pretty well, he couldn't figure out where things should go for quite a long time ;)
Both of mine are fawn colored, but Mojo has more black in him, he's darker and his outer coat has lots of black hairs where Tink is all fawn. We're interested to see if they stay this dark or if they'll lighten up to like Tink. Some are lighter than others though in these pictures it's hard to tell. Oh, and the c-section is apparently common for pugs with their smashed snouts, I guess they have a hard time getting those big heads down the canal. Plus Tink broke her pelvis last year when they were both hit by a car (some nice person opened the gate on the side of the yard while we weren't home and let them out) so they warned us then that she could have trouble having puppies, so we opted for the c-section. |
Puppy Update
Here are 2 updated pictures of our sole survivor. Sadly, we've had trouble keeping the little critters alive. No amount of love and bottlefeeding kept the others alive. It was a rough first week and this one is the only one to have survived. It's a male and quite healthy looking (fat and sassy!). His eyes opened yesterday, he's 18 days old today.

What a lucky pup! :) What great pics!
I'm sorry the others did not survive. :( |
Lucky is what my daughter keeps calling him ;) We supposedly aren't keeping him, but we're all getting attached to him since he was the only one to make it. Since pugs are a Chinese breed, anyone know how to say "I'm a lucky dog" or sole survivor or something along those lines in Chinese to name him?
|
幸运的狗 (lucky dog)
Now...how do you SAY it? beats me:p |
I think Lucky is a great name! :)
Fu = Chinese for luck... |
We tried Fu on for size, but it didn't stick. Too easy to say Fu-fu and he's a little boy, didn't work well. Lucky just might be the name after all!
|
Puppies are so cute. Yeah, they're full of themselves, but they're soooo cute! I want a puppy. I want a Corgi puppy. A girl.
Lucky Fu Fu. :D |

How can you go wrong with a precocious 3 year old and a puppy in the same picture? :)
|
You cant! Never!
Glad to see they both appear so happy and well!! |
Incredibly cute - both of them.
|
And puppies make the cutest noises too when they're that small.
:) |
I can make a sound bite if I have to...
|
Awwwww!
He's the Sole Survivor! Maybe you should name his Milton - as in Milton Bradly, the company that made the Stay Alive game and the famous commercial line that stuck in my head for almost 40 years. :) He's one lucky pup - and adorable too. |
