So THAT'S why the cat ladies are crazy...

Scientist says cat virus affects human personality. Story here.

During NA's stalking of me in late May/early June, I pointed a similar story out to her, urging her to get the help she so desperately needs. However, since it is apparent that she has not yet taken that advice, I am glad to see another story about the dangers of cat ownership.

That's a truly freaky story. How did they come to the conclusions as to what personality changes it causes in humans, I wonder?

"warm, outgoing and attentive to others"

Well, I must not be infected, then. Heh.

When I decide to travel the world and have to abandon my cats, I'm going to use this disease as the excuse.

Is there a way to TEST for this disease?!

"This isn't about trying to freak cat owners out," he says. "Simply having a cat as a pet doesn't mean you're going to get infected, for sure."

Of course, maybe some other parasite is making him say that.
ROFLMAO!

In this case, I'd definitely say NA has the bug. :)

scaeagles 08-09-2006 12:09 PM

[speaking as a stalked person] Yeah - maybe a little too attentive to others. [/speaking as a stalked person]

I had dinner with the author of the book. Small meek man, you'd never know he could write like that. But then again look at Steven King....

I really like them, but I must admit, I could eat one just for the bun/onions/lettuce/cheese combo too.
