Welcome, Jughead P. Jones!

Jughead is a pal of mine from another forum, and I thought he'd enjoy the warm and swanky atmosphere here.

So, welcome! Kick off your shoes and make yourself comfy. It's a pleasant crowd and I think you'll like them.

Hey, guys! Thanks for the kind welcome!

I certainly am "digging" this place. I checked out the FAQ's, and they are very well written...love the '60's poetry reading feel of the place!

Snowflake 08-27-2006 02:54 PM

Welcome JPJ, doff the hat and have a drink! Welcome to the LoT! A swanky spot, indeed!

Welcome, tall Canadian!

I fear you may get a few "Mountie" or Canadian Club jokes from some of the more glib LoTers but that's what makes it fun (for the rest of us;) ).

I love Canada. I have mostly been in the Maritime Provinces and Toronto area for Customer Service training. Great people. Imagine an entire country populated by Disneyland Cast Members (friendly, polite, hospitable). That's Canada.

And give my best to Tim Horton.

Bring 'em on! I've heard every Canadian reference/joke/stereotype under the sun, and can probably bring on a few more! LOL! And, it's so true about Canadians being friendly. Sure, you run into the odd grouch, but in all likelihood, they're just having a bad day. I used to live in Ottawa for a couple of years (which isn't too far away from my current residence), and I absolutely recommend the city as a tourist destination because there is so much to see and do.

And, Timmies rock! (Or, at least the donuts and cookies...never been big on coffee)

Jughead P. Jones 08-28-2006 07:09 AM

And, I just want to say thanks to every single one of you who have made me feel so welcome on this site. You guys are definitely the coolest.

Especially you, LSPoorEeyorick! Thanks for the invite!

Wow, I didn't know that Canada was experiencing a high turnover rate!

Welcome!

Capt Jack 08-28-2006 08:05 AM

welcome aboard

Prudence 08-28-2006 12:09 PM

Welcome! I'll sort through the rolodex for the Canadian jokes now. I've never made it to the rest of Canada - just Vancouver and Victoria - but the Canada movie at Epcot made us want to go. Are you sure you can't be a Newfie for extra bonus accent mocking points?

Eliza Hodgkins 1812 08-28-2006 12:29 PM

Welceom, JPJ!

(This Penny D talkin'.)

blueerica 08-28-2006 03:22 PM

Man... why am I always late to the party!

Welcome JPJ!!

Cadaverous Pallor 08-28-2006 04:43 PM

Am I correct in assuming that this is our first Canadian poster?

Brigitte 08-28-2006 05:21 PM
