Knotts Haunt: Sat. Oct 28th Open Invite

Heather and I will be going to Haunt on the 28th of October. We did not buy pre-scream dinner. Anyone who wants to join us is welcome. It would be super cool (yes, I said super cool) if we had a group going.

BK has discount coupons, it is $44 after the discount. There is a BK a few blocks north of Knotts (if you are on Beach going North it will be on your left).

I'm going to copy/paste the following post for a while in reference to spendy excursions:

We're broke, sorry. Wish we could go.

Hey, you're home owners now:

Home Equity Loan

You should start recieving offers any day now ;)

Gemini Cricket 09-25-2006 09:16 AM

Ooh! I can actually participate in these meet threads without posting my usual:
I can't. I'm too far away.
:)

Halloween Haunt, eh? Maybe. Maybe... :)

It may be worth it just to see Marla freak out a couple of times. It may also be fun watching a monster try and spook Erica... she's unshakable...
:D

Keep in mind guys that Oct. 28 is gonna be the BUSIEST day of Haunt this year - it's the Saturday before Halloween. If you do insist on going that day, if you REALLY want to enjoy yourselves, get reservations for the pre-Scare dinner - the early entrance is absolutely worth it.

Not Afraid 09-25-2006 10:04 AM

The pre-scare dinner - early admission is SOOOO worth it.

Tramspotter 09-25-2006 10:48 AM

I see how it is... my Post not good enough for ya eh?

Ohh. Then would that make this a bad time to post THIS link?

Well you know.... :p

There was no date. What date are you going?

Not Afraid 09-25-2006 06:56 PM

I'm off to a party that night.

BarTopDancer 09-25-2006 07:03 PM

OK, so we have a bunch of people who can't go.

Does anyone want to go?

lashbear 09-25-2006 07:32 PM

I want to go.............. :(

CoasterMatt 09-25-2006 09:10 PM

Here's my favorite pic from last year's Pre-Scare Dinner

CoasterMatt 09-25-2006 09:25 PM

Oh yeah, if any of you go on Halloween night, be sure to bring some candy for the monsters :)

lashbear 09-25-2006 09:28 PM

Um, yeah, that Saturday IS Halloween Party night.

Not that I want to go to Knott's anyway, but I'd think any other night might find more people available.

BarTopDancer 09-25-2006 10:11 PM

Some of us don't have parties to go to/don't want to go to parties.

So those of you who do, have fun. Those of you who don't, anyone is welcome. And if no one else comes then so be it. But I thought it would be nice to make an open invite for anyone who wants to come rather than a behind the scenes meet that was discussed a few weeks ago. I never thought it would be full of replies of how it's a bad idea. :(

Sub la Goon 09-26-2006 06:26 AM

This really is a great idea and it sounds like fun. I have never been and would like to check it out (one of these years!)

The 28th does not good for me because I will have my 5YO twins all weekend. We are doing Disney's Halloween Treat on the 27th and I am worried that THAT might be too scary for my "chicken littles". I can barely get them on the dark rides at D-Land.

Happy Haunting to all those who can attend!

MickeyD 09-26-2006 11:42 PM

Count me in.

Oh yeah, you already did. :p

keith - SuPeR K! 09-28-2006 11:30 PM

leigh-ann and i will be at the haunt on thursday, oct 12 to avoid the crowds, pay a lower admission, and enjoy the higher scarers-to-guest ratio :)

anyone who wants to tag along is welcome of course...
