A sad day.

I just got back from Coos Bay, Oregon. My Wifes Grandfather, my Sons Great Grandfather(he called him pop) died three days ago at the age of 91. We buried him today.

Of all of my Wifes reletives he was the one I could say I loved the most and I will miss him dearly. His Wife of 64 years died last May and his health started to falter immediately after...he did love her so. His funeral was nice but over so soon...and just like that he's gone.

I'm really saddened by the passing of so many of the 'Greatest Generation', especially when they are part of the family of someone I know. He sounds like a really nice, great man who lived a very full life, Jeff- we should all be so lucky! I hope his passing was not hard; after all the things he did and years he lived, he deserved a peaceful death.

Hugs to you and your family!
