Disney vanity plates

I have been contemplating vanity plates forever it seems, each time we get a different vehicle around here. This is my new Sequoia and maybe if the right plate strikes me, I'll finally do it!

What have you seen as Disney related vanity plates? Anything fitting?

Not Afraid 12-06-2006 02:39 PM

Pretty car! But, what is all that white stuff on the ground? ;)

Brigitte 12-06-2006 02:46 PM

Nasty nasty stuff, be glad you don't have any ;) I think asphalt should be made with something in it that makes snow not stick to it :P

Alex 12-06-2006 03:05 PM

Ours is WESTCOT (the only reason I agree to having a vanity plate is because it means that when we check into a motel I can remember it).

On our previous car it was TOON SPN (which I'm sure nobody ever got).

I've seen many good ones while walking through Mickey & Friends but at the moment can't think of any.

Not Afraid 12-06-2006 03:18 PM

I wish I could remember the exact phrase on the plate that was obviously owned by an Imagineer involved with fireworks.

Cadaverous Pallor 12-06-2006 04:03 PM

Remember Mad4Mky? She has that plate. I haven't seen it in a while, but every now and then it used to jump out at us at the structure.

I know a certain poster here has MTTRHRN (or something like that).

I think AUTOPIA would be the best plate ever.

Alex 12-06-2006 04:06 PM

I know who had DOOMBGY and OMNIMVR

SacTown Chronic 12-06-2006 06:47 PM

It's not Disney but today I saw this vanity plate on a pick-up:

SAC CUB

And on the rear window was a rainbow decal in the shape of a bear. Woof!

Disneyphile 12-06-2006 06:50 PM

I have BRQHDWN. (They just came in.)

I'll post a photo of it soon. :)

OK, I'm being slow on the uptake (like that's anything new)

All I'm getting looking at that is "broken down"

Prudence 12-06-2006 08:21 PM

Ooooo you're going to kick yourself when you get it. :p

I'm stumped too.

think faster... before the thread glows away.

Alex 12-06-2006 08:52 PM

It's a reference to a parade.

Alex 12-06-2006 08:58 PM

Anybody else being reminded of the license plate game show that was on TV back in the late '80s/early '90s?

Totally. I hated that show because it cheated and used too many spaces.

CoasterMatt 12-06-2006 10:26 PM

There's nothing like hearing that wonderful theme performed live in a nightclub, is there?

wendybeth 12-06-2006 11:19 PM

Omg! I got it, and before some of the Hardcore people here!

It's:

Spoiler:
Baroque Hoedown

Right? Awesome, DP!:snap:

(I have to add that I got it before the hints, btw)

Gn2Dlnd 12-06-2006 11:25 PM

When I have the extra money, GN2DLND, natch.

There used to be a white VW Rabbit in West Hollywood with the plates ML8 ML8.

libraryvixen 12-06-2006 11:30 PM

I love your plate T! Mine is my name: LBRYVXN

Would that be "BLWUPDL"? ;)

I had a canary yellow 1970 Ford Mavrick with "MUDRAKE" on it. I liked to take it off road. That was my first car right out of high school. My aunt gave it to me.

Moonliner 12-07-2006 08:28 AM

100 BJS

To bad it was a guy driving.

Alex 12-07-2006 10:37 AM

You have to pretend that you're going to order them.

Go here
Select Auto for type of vehicle and Yes for whether you own it.
Select any of the plate designs and then click next.

On that page you can enter what you are looking for. When you submit that it will tell you whether the text is available.

If it ever snows here in LA, lots of people would run outside with straws and razor blades!!

What is that?

Brigitte 12-07-2006 11:33 AM

Spoiler:
It's the name of the music from the Electrical Parade

and if it gets this much confusion on a board of Disney people, imagine what kind of confusion it would cause up here!

Nephythys 12-07-2006 11:36 AM

heh- someone let me in on the answer. I had no idea- I guess even among Disney fans there are many levels of knowledge.

I would concede to DP anytime! :) She rules.

You Disneyphile, you ! :D

Alex 12-07-2006 01:10 PM

Despite my intense hatred for that particular piece of music I promise not to rear end Disneyphile should I ever find myself driving behind that plate.

I saw this one in Utah once: WWWDD.

I have no way to know for sure but I am sticking to my interpretation.

How about I pull up alongside you and blare it out the window?

Alex 12-07-2006 02:43 PM

In that situation I might suddenly realize that my car is at 120,000 miles and probably due to be replaced soon anyway.

Not Afraid 12-07-2006 03:11 PM

I was close before my first hint.

Ghoulish Delight 12-07-2006 03:18 PM

I got it sans-hints.

Alex 12-07-2006 03:50 PM

I was just about to say "I don't get it" when I suddenly got it. For once I figured it out without first exposing myself.

Many things confuse me and take me a while to figure out, but generally I'm able to do so without removing my clothing.

My way makes board meeting presentations more of an adventure.
