Fantasmic! Down?

I have a freind who has never seen Fantasmic!. I know, serious shocker. He's an AP holder too. I went to the DL site and saw that it is down? How long is it down for?

At least until late May due to work on Tom Sawyer Island, according to the last MousePlanet update.

thank you!

Fantasmic is down? Give it some Prozac.

another thing I'm going to miss.... WDW's one will be going, however.

CoasterMatt 02-12-2007 07:42 PM

WDW's Fantasmic is um.... underwhelming

innerSpaceman 02-12-2007 07:45 PM

i.e., it's total crap.

CoasterMatt 02-12-2007 07:49 PM

I was trying to be a little less negative :)

During the bubble sequence, I'd LOVE to have the soundtrack switch to Don Ho singing "Tiny Bubbles" - get the whole crowd singing along...

Yeah... last trip to WDW we finally caught Fantasmic. Waited for over an hour in the rain in fact. Well, I guess that's one less thing I need to do at WDW...

I'm glad it's gone for now. I'd rather ride the Mark Twain at night.

innerSpaceman 02-12-2007 08:14 PM

I wish it would glow away for ever. Yawn.

As much as I adore Fantasmic!, I'm always a fan of catching the Mark Twain just minutes before the fireworks begin.

innerSpaceman 02-13-2007 09:35 AM

Ooooh, I've never done that.

must, must, must.

BarTopDancer 02-13-2007 09:49 AM

I love Fantasmic! It has shiny and fire and swords and movies and water screens and pretty music.

I dispise the crowds and jams it facilitates though.

That's my favorite thing. Reminds me of when BT proposed.
