TJ

And I don't mean Trader Joe's!

I've never been, and I find myself with a Monday holiday and no plans, so I'm wondering if anybody would like to go shop for trinkets in TJ?

I'd also be up for a trip to the fabric district if folks wanted to keep it closer to home.

Nooooo. TJ is bad. Buy your trinkets in south San Diego ;)

I agree, Tujunga is no place for a young lady. Indeed, I would stay away from Crescenta Valley all to-gether.

If you go, I wish you luck. And pick me up a switchblade and some vicodin*

IMHO...
TJ sucks. do the fabric district thing, or zoo, or anything but that.

I can't do TJ, but I do want to go to the fabric district. Although, I'm not sure anyone's going to be open on Monday.

MouseWife 02-16-2007 12:34 AM

Looks like somebodys' trying not to get a case of the Mondays....;)

Well....aside from every other reason not to go to TJ...

I would imagine the border wait would really stink. Add that to your commute down and what a day. Blech!

Where would you end up if you drove 3-4 hours east or north?

I live thisclose to the border and I don't bother. I can't even imagine what kind of trinkets would interest you down there that you can't get up here.

{why did Under the Sea just pop into my head?}

Trinkets? I thought TJ was for underage alcoholic poisoning.

Sounds like fabric district is a winner. Just called Michael Levine's, and they're going to be open. The girl on the phone thinks most shops will be.

So, anyone else up for fabric district?

Not Afraid 02-16-2007 06:31 PM

Well, in the meantime, by boss asked me to do Day Camp for him on Monday. Sadly, I need to money.
