We be cruisin'

Susan and I will be taking a cruise next month for our 10 year wedding anniversary. We are sailing out of Long Beach. Is it better to park in their lot and pay the fee or to have some kind soul provide transportation?

In case ya care, we are taking a seven day cruise to Mexico on Carnival. Tim at Craig's Travel (Wolfy's husband) took good care of us and I strongly recommend.

Fun! Great prices, too- you are going to have a blast!

How about we take you and pick you up? Terminal parking will run you about $80 for the whole week. It's not a problem. Just let us know! :)

Oh my goodness, what dates are these? I'm close to LB and can try and help as best I can - possibly have you park at my place, depending on the dates, I'm going away for a week and a half at the end of the month. Then should be home until the end of may.

Let me know if I can help!

And when you proposed she answere "Oh my, this is so sudden, I'll have to think about it!"

It took me 2 years, and I though that was a long time! April 15th is my wife birthday (yes, she was born on TAX day- and she is a twin!) so I'll be busy that day. I would strongly suggest getting a ride, I never trust my car parked there for a week.

My wife and I eloped to Vegas as the wedding was turning out to be a nightmare because of her mother, so on our tenth we had the church wedding. Now this year will be our 27th. I'll have to plan a cruise for our 30th. What do you think? :D

wendybeth 04-02-2007 10:43 PM

Eric and I dated for 10 years as well, and we have been married for 13. God, I'm old.

Morrigoon 04-02-2007 10:58 PM

Have fun!

Kevy Baby 04-14-2007 10:45 PM

So, it is 10:45 the evening before we leave. I guess I should start thing about packing.

Thank you in advance to NA who is driving us and to Frodo Potter who will be dragon tending.

Happy anniversary and have a fantastic cruise! :)

Not Afraid 04-15-2007 08:20 PM

Well, we got them to the cruise terminal with no trouble from the Grand Prix traffic. HOWEVER......the traffic at the cruise terminal was HORRIBLE! We learned later (after a call from Kevin) that the ship arrive late due to bad weather so they were disembarking late. They were still standing in line to get on board when they called a good 2 hours later. I hope the rest of the trip is better than the start.

CrazyLegs 04-19-2007 03:08 AM

I hope the trip is going great. happy Anniversary

Kevy Baby 04-26-2007 08:37 PM

I will be posting a trip report at a later time (including a reminder to keep an eye on your pants). I'll try to pick a few choice photos out of the 435 we took.

Right now, I am trying to catch up on the LoT. Right now, I am about two hours and I still have a full page to go.

wendybeth 04-26-2007 09:30 PM

Welcome back!

MouseWife 04-26-2007 09:38 PM

By "choice" I presume you mean "clothed"? Welcome Back! Bon Workage!

Are you presuming that I might have taken photos of my wife in a state of nakidity?!?

cirquelover 04-27-2007 09:10 AM

No, just missing the pants you inferred to:p

When I finally complete my trip report, you will learn about the reference. It is funny now, but not so much at the time.
