"Fly away on my Zephyr"? I think you paired it with the wrong attraction. ;)

RStar 03-31-2007 03:45 PM

Yes, but it did say something about smelling at the proper moment. :D

lashbear 03-31-2007 05:32 PM

I love that the carriage in front didn't have time to load and you had to wait until it was out of the station !!

wendybeth 03-31-2007 06:39 PM

I dunno- it's missing something.......

I know! Steve's Rainbow Glasses!

Stan4dSteph 03-31-2007 09:00 PM

The POV makes me feel like I'm stalking those two kids and their older relative.

NickO'Time 04-01-2007 12:48 AM

It's a little out of sync with the ride. ;) :D

Sub la Goon 04-01-2007 01:03 AM

Hey, was that GC getting out at the end there?

innerSpaceman 04-01-2007 07:53 AM

Maybe that dad will You-Tube his video of zapp and Gemini Cricket in the background of his two darling children riding Rockin' Heimlich.

Matterhorn Fan 04-01-2007 02:22 PM

hehehehe. Which attraction will become Rockin' next?

Isaac 04-01-2007 02:23 PM

I'm not tellin' ;)

wendybeth 04-01-2007 04:13 PM

IASW- it's due for a new soundtrack.

Morrigoon 04-01-2007 04:43 PM

Dark Side of the Moon, perhaps?

Stan4dSteph 04-01-2007 05:22 PM

We should have a contest. Can someone share a good video? :)

Ghoulish Delight 04-02-2007 10:47 AM

Let's see, we had Rockin' Big Thunder (Roller Coaster of Love), Rockin' Jungle Cruise (Welcome to the Jungle), Rockin' Matterhorn (Ice Ice Baby), and Rockin' Columbia Sailing Ship ([insert humorous musical selection here...my vote is Come Sail Away]).

I would suggest "Friggin' in the Riggin'" a classic from the Great Rock n' Roll Swindle Soundtrack.

I would humbly suggest Ozzy's Crazy Train for Big Thunder

:D No worries. It was a while ago that I posted that.

CrazyLegs 04-02-2007 02:42 PM

Cool :)

Morrigoon 04-16-2007 10:23 PM

We were discussing the "Rockin' both parks iPod tour" this weekend in the park, so it seemed like a good time to revive this thread.

innerSpaceman 04-17-2007 07:57 AM

Heheh, if someone(s) will do all the work, I'd play along ... now that I am the ashamed owner of a kidnapped iPod.

I'm always heartened whenever I come across a CM with a sense of humor who doesn't always feel the need to toe the company line.

When I was at DL at the end of April, I approached the CM working the FastPass line at Space Mountain.

Me: "So... no more Red Hot Chili Peppers?"
CM: "Nope. It's back to normal."
Me: "Any plans to bring it back?"
CM: "We hope not."

Congrats on the attention your vid is getting, Zap. But you already knew it was cool.:snap:

Ghoulish Delight 05-21-2007 11:55 AM

Oh, that's great!

Kevy Baby 05-21-2007 12:08 PM

Cool Zap!

Heheh, as with our group of Lost & Found CMs who yesterday admitted to being rather disheartened with the new Guest Relations uniforms (more popularly - or, now, unpopularly known as the New Tour Guide Costumes).

NirvanaMan 05-21-2007 12:59 PM

Freakin awesome.

MouseWife 05-21-2007 07:40 PM

Aw, that was really nice. And, now that I've seen that video, I don't have to ride the ride.

Until I get grandkids.

Is it very difficult to add music to videos? This song,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31VXZg1UjFg

I would love to use with either video or photos from our Yosemite trips and even just road trippin'. I always play this when road trippin' just the hubby, son and I.

I know, you, zappppop are gifted and knowledged in this area...tell me, can the ordinary joe do something similar???

Isaac 05-22-2007 10:18 AM

You can put together a simple slideshow with audio using ProShow.

For the Heimlich clip, I used Sony Vegas Movie Studio. I imported the video clip and deleted the audio track. Then I opened the RHCP's 'Zephyr Song' in an audio editing program called GoldWave and removed 1 minute of music. Then I exported the song from GoldWave and into SVMS. Next I synched up the audio track with the video track and exported the project as an mpg file. Finally, I uploaded it to YouTube. The one problem I've had with YouTube is they screw up the synch of the audio just a tiny bit and they tend to make the clip a bit darker. Still it's not bad.

MouseWife 05-22-2007 10:40 AM

Thank you very much for the steps, zapppop. :snap:

Wow, such technology! I will have to see what I have and don't have and then go from there.
