Welcome, Alex!

I think we should all extend a greeting to our newest member, Alex Stroup.

€uroMeinke 02-24-2005 08:41 PM

Eh, I've found him to be a bit of a joyless turd at times - but yeah, it's nice to have him on board - even as a lurker.

Are you saying we have a floater in our pool?;)

Heh, I like Alex but I know he has commitments elsewhere adn that is precisely why he is here, to reserve his name and represent his place - which is fine, though I'd much rather he let himself get swankified - but to many of us live on multiple boards, so he's forfieted that freedom long ago. Or that's my opinion.

Alex of course, is welcome to take my bait and state otherwise ;)

Gemini Cricket 02-24-2005 10:39 PM

:looks around for Lani:

Nope. Oh, well. Maybe soon.

:)

BarTopDancer 02-24-2005 11:12 PM

People! We should be NICE to Alex! He bribes the weather gods for MA! Do we want 105 degree 95% humidity or a nice 70 degree with normal humidity weather??

Well, since I don't do MA, the question for me is: Do I want to read about people competing in a comfortable, pleasant climate, or really wild, extreme weather conditions? Hmmmm.....

:D

Actually, considering your extreme weather of the past few weeks, I'll play nice.

Hi, Alex.:p

Umm, if Alex has been the one taking care of MA weather, he's clearly failed miserably.

How quickly you forget the last MA. I think he found the perfect bribe.

My thoughts exactly!

mhrc4 02-25-2005 10:42 AM

the last MA was the exception, the previous ones were so damn hot it wasnt even funny. The last 2 years+ running we have had overly hot and humid days for MA

well, i guess it can be said that at least we havent had rain. That would make for an interesting MA...

Not Afraid 02-25-2005 12:33 PM

Me thinks Alex is only here to answer questions about MA. Me think Alex could care less about swank. Just a guess. ;)

mhrc4 02-25-2005 02:07 PM

methinks you could be correct

belleh5 02-25-2005 06:51 PM

Welcome Alex!!

Did you like our(SuperStar Losers) shirts from last October's MA? :D

Isaac 03-01-2005 07:08 PM

Alex Stroup signed up ?

I guess that means MouseAdventure is coming up. ;)

Alex 03-05-2005 06:51 PM

Actually, it had nothing to do with MouseAdventure.

I'm not running this time and would just direct all questions to the person who would answer them.

I've scanned through here a few times since you started up and have no problem with participating here. I don't have a problem with me, or any of the other staff participating on as many boards as they want though, that with Fabsboards and MiceChat it is my choice that I'm not going to participate on directly competing boards.

Lounge of Tomorrow doesn't have that issue for me. I registered because I saw something I wanted to respond to, but by the time the registration was approved I'd lost the thread on it and didn't track it back down.

So, in short, I don't expect to come by often, simply because I barely have enough time for the board I have to read, let alone the ones I want to read. When I do, I'll post if I have something to say.

Assuming that is fine with you all. If you'd rather I just stayed out, I can cope and comply.

blueerica 03-05-2005 06:55 PM

HAHA -- Don't let the fools on this board give you a hard time. Hehehee!

Come by and read when you can!

Alex 03-05-2005 06:56 PM

Edited for clarity:

Ghoulish Delight 03-05-2005 11:59 PM

tracilicious 03-07-2005 03:48 PM

Yes, welcome! I hear you about barely having time for one board. This one is pretty slow and I can barely seem to keep up.

Gemini Cricket 03-08-2005 11:08 AM

Is that "poost" as in rhymes with "roost"?

Now I'm going to be saying it.

Alex, you're welcome anytime. I would offer to help you find your missing thread if I knew what it was about. Buddah help us if we we miss one of Alex's sage posts (I'm serious here).

We created this board to be NOT about DIsney. I was tired of the same old conversations, and, so far, it's been lively and fun. I do hope you pop in once in a while. You were one of our hopes to join as I always enjoy what you have to say.

Lisa

Alex 03-09-2005 12:07 PM

Sorry zapppop, I posted because Sheila told me there a thread here about me. You did, however, provide the hook on which I was able to build my post, take from the what glee you can.

I don't have the faintest recollection of what I wanted to post to, Lisa, so I'm afraid it is lost forever.

Claire 03-09-2005 01:34 PM

:snap: Welcome, Alex! :)
