McCastle?

This website claims to have stock floorplans and blueprints for sale.....

Maybe it's because I am just a dumb Oregonian but does this strike you as an off the shelf house?

I guess we just don't have those kind of houses around here ;) Well, unless one of the Blazers is building it!

Maybe it's the millionaires base house, then they have to build on and customize from there.

Yeah, I suppose Oden would consider it for his Garden Shed:D

Morrigoon 08-07-2007 01:56 AM

I've seen plenty of great house plans in those magazines of ready-designed blueprints. But I cannot say as that I've seen anything like THAT.

Cadaverous Pallor 08-07-2007 07:47 AM

Ooh, I get to say it first.....LoT Commune! :D

Now where to buy the land...

katiesue 08-07-2007 09:11 AM

Very cool - I call dibs on a room with a turret.

Snowflake 08-07-2007 10:07 AM

But if I'm not going to be ensconced at the LoT Commune, this would suit my needs fine, but the garage would have to be different, no need for 3 car garage. Turn that into a Home Theater with a lobby.

Small house

Of course, I still dream of a craftsman or a little 1920s spanish bungalow.

A good summer place, I think two islands are necessary. Cerralvo will be too hot in the summer, just about when Casco Bay Island is warming up. Follow the sun.

Well, you are correct that the garage does not suit, but you went the wrong direction. Us guys want MORE garage for more cars as well as a couple of workshops (wood for sure).

Nirvanaman alone will probably need space for 10 cars!

uh...no need for a 3 car?
I'd fill that sucker all by my lonesome and thats JUST the cars.

the machine shop, woodworking, lift, compressor and welding equipment all need their own areas as well.

no need indeed

Kevy Baby 08-07-2007 12:01 PM

Typical girl

Capt Jack 08-07-2007 12:05 PM

we're just going to have to put up our own warehouse K. we'll race the 4x4 golf carts to it

did I forget to mention the 1/4 mile asphalt track, landing strip and dirt moto-oval? yeah...we can put it over there.

Snowflake 08-07-2007 12:40 PM

I thought my preferences were pretty transparent. You guys can have all the car space you want (something along the lines of that barn/warehouse in Portugal I'd wager). Typical guys  **

That said, the movie nights at my house could rival the cemetary, especially if I enlisted the incredible media collection to be found at casa de mousepod.

** if I had my druthers, I would have more than one car, but my tastes, like my collecting tastes, run far over my budget. A 1926 Packard Boat-tail Roadster, for starters, then maybe a vintage British roadster a la Emma Peel and a 1950s era Caddy with big FINS..... Not your typical girl, I think.

Capt Jack 08-07-2007 02:46 PM

yeah, ok. youre cool. c'mon out to the warehouse and K and I will put you to work.
you CAN have the car you want, mayhap you just have to build it yourself.

snowflake building her own car = mousetrap

Morrigoon 08-07-2007 04:52 PM

That wood shop had better be big enough for all of us. Gonna be spending a lot of time in there :)

I call first dibs on the compound miter saw!

scaeagles 08-07-2007 04:56 PM

22,000 square feet is a little smaller than I was looking for.

No, I think it will make for an adequate wood working studio.
