Anyone interested in seeing Puffy AmiYumi? I can get some presale tickets for $20 (plus evil charges). It's a Sunday night.

Sounds like a fun night. I haven't bought tickets for Ween @ the Wiltern yet... and I have seen them semi-recently (with €uro and NA)... hmmm....

Hmm more musical fun... But, I'm going to guess that I'll be opening that Monday. I will have to see what wonders I can work with my work schedule. Or what happens to the rest of my schedule

Their short lived cartoon pretty much killed any desire to ever want to see them live.

Is there a suicide pact for after the show???

Ok now Ms. Montana/Cyrus I know. We were able to beat the Tickermaster fastdraw and score 3 seats for headliner to her concert in January.

And then we can get all pissy cause our kid "has" to see Miley and we "had" to pay scalpers because Disney should have had more/cheaper tickets. :rolleyes:

Oh and speaking of that. The WSJ had an article on why it was so hard to get tickets for the Hanna Montana show. It's them pesky scalpers once again...

Wait. This conflicts with the Griffith Swank. Now I'm confused.

Hmm - we have none yet, there is a park nearby for someone wanting to make a day of it. Sometimes dining at the HOB gets you early entry, or there's the AP Lounge...

Well hat was fun - I'd love to do it again.

Sadly no pics, anyone caught taking a picture (even with cellphone) was expelled from the venue. But I'm ready to quit my job and become one of the PuffyAmiYumi back-up dancers.

Great show! Lots and lots of fun! It's nice to have a great view from almost anywhere in the club because you happen to be taller than 99% of the attendees. Poor people behind me. ;)

I'd like to add though that seeing NA sing along to the Teen Titans theme songs was a show in itself.

I had so much fun last night! With the exception of a really bitchy white-girl in front of me (I know - like I don't look white to most people...) I had a fantastic time. I was next to a bunch of little Japanese girls, which in case you didn't know, are the cutest thing next to little Thurston.

I want to shrinky-dink those Puffy Ami Yumi girls and keep them in my pocket. Puffy Ami Yumi Tamagotchi pets! My adorable new Japanese pocket pals will help me to fight crime whilst always keeping me entertained.

Somewhere in Japan exists a might power source from which all Japanese pop / punk rock stars get their energy. They are freakishly peppy at all times.

I do need to toss out some love to Big-€ for starting this thread.

As a result of this tread I listened to a bunch of Puffy AmiYumi songs. Their theme song and "Tokyo I'm on my way" got stuck in my head....

Two days ago my kids were talking and happened to mention the show. I of course broke out into my best: "Hey, Hey, Puffy AmiYumi Show... We made music soo sweet and pure that...."

The looks on their faces: Priceless.

They were hot. In a ridiculously cute, punk, baggy clothed, polite Japanese pop star way. So yeah, totally hot.
