Tempted.

Kevy Baby 10-29-2007 06:19 PM

Friday night? May be doable!

Dinner for only $17.50 could be worse (and there seems to be some discrepancy on the dinner cost)

Vegetarian and Vegan option available

CoasterMatt 10-29-2007 07:24 PM

I think the 17.50 was a typo

Arrgh!!

This was just announced this afternoon (I knew there was going to be a Pirate themed show soon, but not exactly when or where)

BarTopDancer 10-29-2007 07:54 PM

Ooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

And there is no hockey game.

7pm is totally doable. The price is totally right.

Who wants to carpool?

€uroMeinke 10-29-2007 09:02 PM

Hmmmmm

innerSpaceman 10-29-2007 09:43 PM

I think pirates are overdone.

And I said I'd go to the next Mutaytor show ... but the next one's in 2 weeks ?????

oi.

€uroMeinke 10-29-2007 09:49 PM

Arrrrr

mousepod 10-29-2007 09:52 PM

Is it over 21? Or can a minor come if accompanied by a parent or guardian?

Uh oh... that's too much pressure.

CoasterMatt 11-13-2007 10:09 PM

Just to let ya know- Ticket sales have been very strong so far

according to Curious Josh (who's throwing the event),

Quote:

Hello!
we've sold out of a bunch of tickets for The Pirate Party already!

first tier at $13.50...sold out
second tier at $14.50... sold out
we have 64 out of 100 tix at $15 left, and there's a chance that will sell out too!
only 300 tickets will be available at the door

we added 35 dinners options with a new seating arrangement, and have only 18 of 80 dinner seats left (and they're in the mezzanine).
You don't need dinner seats to come early, and see the burlesque show! (but then you have to stand :)

CoasterMatt 11-13-2007 10:12 PM

Oh yeah, there's also supposed to be a ninja invasion, so anybody that wants to dress up like a ninja (or geisha) or whatever, feel free!

Kevy Baby 11-13-2007 11:02 PM

Are you going for dinner?

CoasterMatt 11-13-2007 11:04 PM

I would love to go for dinner, but I won't have actual funds until Friday.

CoasterMatt 11-13-2007 11:05 PM

Oh, BTW Kevy - here's a slideshow of the troupe doing the Pirate Burlesque

Kevy Baby 11-14-2007 08:08 PM

OK - I am officially going. Just bought tix.

We (Susan, CoasterMatt, Bornieo and myself) ARE doing dinner.

Anyone else going?

I am cruising the internet while I am on a conference call.

Bornieo: Fully Loaded 11-17-2007 04:36 AM

Tonight was 6 hours of boring DJ and 2 hours of pure bliss.

What an awesome show!!!

I think we have two converts to the Mutaytor. :)

mousepod 11-17-2007 09:45 AM

I am so bummed. Last night, it was between Mutaytor and the Dickies 30th Anniversary show.

I wound up putting in an 11-hour day at work processing publishing royalties.

yay.

Gemini Cricket 11-17-2007 11:42 AM

Pirates
Mermaids
A cool sea serpent...
No, we're not talking about Yesterland Disneyland...
The Mutaytor show was good. The rest of the entertainment... meh.
Dancing was fun.
:)

CoasterMatt 11-17-2007 11:47 AM

It was cool to dance with some of the girls from the show- and John Avila (bassist extraordinaire and all around groovy dude).

CoasterMatt 11-17-2007 07:40 PM

Here's a gallery of some pics from last night's show - there will be more pics added until Sunday morning - I can spot Bornieo and GC in one of the pics.

It was more like 3 hours once you add in The Hell's Belles Dancers. I want to see them again (and possible get the RAC hooked up with them as an alternative to what she has been talking about doing).

Kevy Baby 11-18-2007 12:08 AM

BTW CM, Bornieo and GC, but did you notice the Red Long Johns®?

Kevy Baby 11-18-2007 12:13 AM

Hey NM: were you too tired for this:

CoasterMatt 11-18-2007 04:45 PM

I noticed the red longjohns, but not as much as I noticed the Mutaytor panties peeking out from them, or the skull and crossbones pasties some of the ladies were wearing.

CoasterMatt 11-18-2007 04:47 PM

Another pic is up where you can see GC

Bornieo: Fully Loaded 11-18-2007 05:36 PM
