Borneo's Gonna Die! (and maybe Katie Sue too!)!

They both have confided in me they have serious illnesses, so let's cheer them up in what may be they're last days.

Cheers,

blueerica 11-29-2007 09:58 PM

Bon Voyage!

OOPS!!!

I mean... get well soon!

Have some soup!

lizziebith 11-29-2007 10:02 PM

That's so SAD! But worse, I'm NOT going to die! No, I'm going to languish here, wallowing in bitterness and malice, wishing ill upon all those who done me wrong, until the very end of time. And then, it will begin anew: fresh rancor, fresh resentment, spewed forth until the very mountains of the Earth wallow in the bile of my sad existence. Over and over the cycle will repeat, until the planet's soil is worn shallow by the vile, nasty acid of my fury.

Hope y'all feel better soon, so you can enjoy that! *salutes* :)

katiesue 11-29-2007 10:02 PM

My dying wish is a trip to see Disneyland one last time. I could endure the pain if only I knew I'd pass through those happy gates just one last time before I tragically draw my last breath.

katiesue 11-29-2007 10:03 PM

erm and I'm sure Borenio would feel better if he could say his final goodbyes at WDW.

swanie 11-29-2007 10:04 PM

Oh man! Why am I the last to find out anything ;-)

I call dibbs on Katiesue's pirate coasters and Walt picture.

And know that Madzer is always welcome to come and visit them.

I know. I was thinking the same thing. I really was. I said to myself, "Hey, you're so cool." And I responded, "Me? No. Go on!"
:D

RStar 11-29-2007 10:06 PM

Well, then. I hope you guys have someone to scatter the ashes around Disneyland. ;)

But seriously, I hope you both feel better soon!

I hear a hot totti (SP?) does wonders!

So have two!

Each!

Here's a little something to help you on your last days:

One for katiesue:

One for Bornieo:

CoasterMatt 11-29-2007 10:09 PM

I told you not to eat at KFC!!

katiesue 11-29-2007 10:09 PM

GC - that makes me feel a little better.

But I think a telethon would be more useful :D

UM - well I may deteroiate rapidly before then. I'm sure it's only a matter of days, two weeks tops. <cough, cough>

CoasterMatt 11-29-2007 10:15 PM

I think Bornieo caught something from one of the girls working Revenge of the Mummy yesterday.

Bornieo: Fully Loaded 11-29-2007 10:16 PM

I'll be spending my final days on the isle of Waponi Wu where I will party for several days and then throw myself into a volcano. Orange soda will be involved...

Bummer. In that case, I might be in the market for a new bestest friend who would like to accompany me to the DLR for a fun few days of ringing in the New Year at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Might I have any takers?

Not Afraid 11-29-2007 10:26 PM

Sheesh! i was just THINKING about the fact that we've never had any sympathy trolls.

Well, I guess that's 2 fewer NYE invites to send out. It sure makes my life easier. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Morrigoon 11-29-2007 10:28 PM

First the Alex thread, now this. I'm starting to suspect a joke.

But if it's not a joke, *hugs* (and if it is, hugs anyway)

JWBear 11-29-2007 11:07 PM

It's time for the magical powers of Shiny Happy Rainbow unicorn again!

Behold, and be well!

Not Afraid 11-29-2007 11:09 PM

I just heard. Prudence is going to Sulkily Die.

Prudence 11-29-2007 11:10 PM

And flounce! You didn't include that! You're all so insensitive!

katiesue 11-29-2007 11:13 PM

I think Pru needs a telathon too.

blueerica 11-29-2007 11:13 PM

But, who will be left to simply sulk..

Oh wait, there's Alex...

Bornieo: Fully Loaded 11-29-2007 11:17 PM

Hello! Whataboutme???? Hello?!! Dying here!!

BarTopDancer 11-29-2007 11:20 PM

Don't be a freekin sympathy troll!

If you're gonna die, die already! Unless your "death" will be a giant YAGE. Then you'll reincarnate yourself but never come meet us.

Gee- can I start a thread about how I am dying of some rare disease and have you all swoon over me and donate to my last trip to DL?

3894 11-30-2007 08:45 AM

I need volunteers!

Cuz we're having a quilting bee! The invalids will be needing a prayer quilt, just like this ...

'Cuz nothing says "Remember us in the will!" like a fish quilt, n'est-ce pas?

Stalk men- ok.....

I'm thinking all-you-can-eat $5.99 Chinese buffet for after the funerals?

Disneyphile 11-30-2007 03:10 PM

I'm planning on throwing the wake. I'll PM the invitees. If you don't receive a PM from me, know that you're not invited.

Gemini Cricket 11-30-2007 03:34 PM

It's weird that you would go to a "wake" to celebrate someone who can't.

Even better:
Have a big crank on the outside of your closed coffin. Each guest gets one full crank. A handful of lucky guests get a surprise when the coffin opens and your springloaded body sits up.
A dead man's Jack in the Box.
:D

Or Bornieo in the Box.

Still waiting.

Disneyphile 11-30-2007 07:00 PM

PMs went out earlier. ;)

Fine. I'll be more honest and straight forward. I snubbed you all, including the deceased! So there! Ha!

It's going to be a great party too. I'm even hiring a live band to play "Dancing With Myself", and that's just what I'll do.

Frankly, I'm glad they're dead or dying. Frankly, it cheered me up. So I'm done sulking.

There's our happy sunbeam, again!

Welcome back

cirquelover 11-30-2007 08:07 PM

Should the words Happy and Sunbeam really be in a sentence about Alex?

Alex 11-30-2007 08:30 PM

"Alex enjoyed the movie Happy Feet and then bought a Sunbeam hand mixer."

I see no problem with it at all.

Or Bornieo in the Box.

Or you could get one of those motion sensors left over from Halloween. maybe one that said "Take me to Disneyland" every time someone comes within two feet.

Even better after the funeral attach it to the head stone and freak out the families of the people buried around you. Maybe James Earl Jones could do the voice.

Except for the fact that I can't see you buying a hand mixer, but am impressed that you knew Sunbeam made them. I also have my doubts that you enjoyed Happy Feet. I know my husband hated that movie, then again he said it had too much dancing. Umm hello, it's called Happy Feet, wouldn't you expect dancing!?

I'm glad you're no longer sulky, now we need to ressucitate the others;)

wendybeth 11-30-2007 10:15 PM

How about "Alex was happy to discover that soon Bornieo and KatieSue would be beyond the warming reach of the glorious sunbeam."

Now, that's definitely more like him. I'm thinking he's moved on to gloating now.;)

I loved Happy Feet. I thought I had reviewed it for MousePlanet but I guess not. Here's a MousePad thread as evidence (and as a bonus I later get to argue against the idea that children's entertainment must be topically bland).

And even if it is true that I hate everything (which I don't, just the things I like) I still have to eat. I'm reasonably good in a kitchen (though I don't often wish to take the time). I don't own a Sunbeam hand mixer but I do own an Oster; and I'm the one who bought it. Same with the stick blender and crock pot.
