And the car theme continues-

What does your car color say about you?

Quote:

Black cars denote an aggressive personality or someone who's an outsider or rebel.
Silver cars indicate someone who's cool, calm and slightly aloof.
Green cars can often be chosen by people with hysterical tendencies.
Yellow cars signify someone who is idealistic and novelty loving.
Blue cars are chosen by the more introspective, reflective and cautious driver.
Gray cars represent those who are calm, sober and dedicated to their work.
Red cars denote those who are full of zest, energy and drive and who think, move and talk quickly.
Pink cars are chosen by gentle, loving and affectionate drivers.
White cars represent status-seeking extrovert drivers.
Cream cars are the least likely to be involved in accidents and denote self-contained and controlled owners.
Ok-
I have had a cream, two silver, two reds and one blue.

So I am-cool, calm and slightly aloof introspective, reflective and cautious driver full of zest, energy and drive and who think, move and talk quickly and are the least likely to be involved in accidents and denote self-contained and controlled owners.

Hmm......:p

Capt Jack 11-30-2007 12:15 PM

Im afraid I must disagree with your list

Gemini Cricket 11-30-2007 12:15 PM

My car's a blue-green.
Sounds about right.
:D

BarTopDancer 11-30-2007 12:16 PM

Apparently I am sober, cool and calm.

Didn't you sell the mustang?

Maybe current owner is full of zest, energy and drive and thinks, moves and talks quickly.

€uroMeinke 11-30-2007 12:30 PM

Be warned - I have hysterical tendencies

Morrigoon 11-30-2007 12:31 PM

I've had two silvers, a red, a white, and a black.

Does that make me schizophrenic?

innerSpaceman 11-30-2007 12:41 PM

Uh-oh

Green cars can often be chosen by people with hysterical tendencies.

WTF?! I chose the color because it was calming and naturelike - - specifically to combat my hysterical tendencies.

Oh hell ... I can't win. :(

Prudence 11-30-2007 12:42 PM

Is there anything about me that says "calm"?

I didn't think so.

well, that kind of depends on which one of you we ask

Alex 11-30-2007 12:50 PM

My car is the color it is because that was the only color available as a stick-shift when we were looking to buy the car.

It is so sad that my nature was determined by limited manufacturer availability. Told you there is no such thing as free will.

Ah, but see, it doesn't say it causes hysterical tendencies, just that it's chosen by people who have 'em. Which seems to have panned out exactly as predicted in your case.

Alex, I got my car for the same reason. It was available in a stick-shift. I almost had a black one, but it was sold before I could get to it, so I have a silver car. I wanted blue, but the dealerships weren't helping me get one and at the time no dealership was trading the car amongst themselves.

I'm just not a silver car kind of girl. Black's not really my color either, but it would have been slightly more distinctive.

History: yellow, yellow, gray, yellow/green, red, silver, and silver.

lizziebith 11-30-2007 01:40 PM

Car history: white, red, green, green, silver, red, white, red, YELLOW!

Strangler Lewis 11-30-2007 03:20 PM

Family cars:
Brown and white: '56 Chevy that I helped my dad abandon when I was 3.
White: '65 Chevy Impalaboat
Brown: '68 Buick Skylark.
Pale Blue: '71 Plymouth Dusteronearmdrivermobile
Brown: '76 AMC Matador station wagon.
Blue and white: '79 Plymouth Volare station wagon
Deep red, red, red: 1982 Mercury Cougar
Red: 1987 Subaru Justy
Orange: 1987 Subaru Justy several years later.
Black: 1996 Honda Civic EX Coupe
Silvertone Gray: 2003 Volkswagen Passat Wagon
Manganese or some such metallic hooey: 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid

The one gap in my collection is that I never had a license plate that started with a 4.

NirvanaMan 11-30-2007 03:22 PM

I currently have a car that is black, one that is red, and one that is Blue. I also have a motorcycle that is teal/silver and one that is all chrome.

What does that tell you?
