Sweet. My new favorite site.

Awesome.

I sent them a picture of Sleeping Beauty Castle...

Thanks - I used the site to purchase something I have been looking for :)

Why does that scare me?

Actually, for once, it is something innocuous. It's rare, but I do do that sometimes.

Some of their comments are pretty funny, but some of the houses I don't really see much of a problem with. Maybe that says something about my taste.

Some of the pictures astonish me- especially the ones where they have only one string of lights. Or every inch is covered in lights.

I saw nothing wrong with most of these. But the comment on this was pretty funny:

You bought the skeletal Homer, didn't you? Admit it! ;)

Nope.

(And I am taking the chance that Susan won't be reading this.) Susan always loved the old style bubble lights: she doesn't like the one you find in stores today. So I bought her two boxes of these.

Oh, cool! I remember those!

Jazzman 12-11-2007 12:12 AM

Bubble lights! Awesome! I remember when I was a kid and those were the coolest things about the tree. I'd stand there mesmerized by them, and Mom would constantly call from the other room, "Okay, that's long enough! Turn them off now so they don't burn down the tree!" and I'd have to switch them off for twenty minutes to cool down.

Those things are great. Hurray for Yule Tide Fire Hazards!

I think you can sometimes find the old school style bubble lights at walmart

Every time she looks (which is often), they have the larger bubble lights - she wants the smaller ones.

The very first link I clicked on is from my neighborhood, that's too funny.

I admit I had no problem with any of them, though I couldn't quite tell from the photo, is Blue the Ox missing his head?
