Welcome Deebs! :D

Everyone, I'd like to present Deebs, a very awesome and swankified gal. :)

I raise a piece of bacon in your honor! :D (You'll soon learn that we really love bacon here. ;) )

Morrigoon 01-02-2008 04:48 PM

I concur. Otherwise, it's a quick way to run up a huge therapy bill. ;)

Kevy Baby 01-02-2008 07:57 PM

JWBear and Disneyphole are wonderful people.

(But since they made the posts above, you must take the opposite of what I say.)

Deebs 01-02-2008 08:23 PM

You do know me, I think...

Or at least, I know you - and hope you remember me.

I'm also called disneyballerina, which is a long and embarrassingly silly name that I never would have used if I had known it would actually be uttered aloud in public. It's since been shortened to DB, from which the nickname Deebs was born.

Hi, LoT!

CoasterMatt 01-02-2008 08:31 PM

Aloha! Welcome! Wilkommen!

.....And no typos in that post, either! Deebs, we're gonna have to keep you around a bit. Although, I will miss some of those typo-posts, now that I think of it. Might have to let the cats at the keyboard on occasion, NA.

RStar 01-02-2008 11:23 PM

I'm not sure I know you, but if you come bearing bacon, I'm your new best friend! :snap:

Welcome Deebs!!!

Bacon?

Or a bacon sammich:

So, does sucking up actually work around here?

Thanks for the nice welcome!

Not Afraid 01-02-2008 11:54 PM

This is wrong. Bacon is looking good to me again.

Bornieo: Fully Loaded 01-02-2008 11:57 PM

Ugh, she's taunting us. Someone ban her please...

:p

Disneyphile 01-03-2008 12:18 AM

I know I ate more bacon in the last 48 hours than shown in both of those photos combined.

Alex 01-03-2008 12:21 AM

See where going 15 years without eating bacon gets you? Those pictures are thoroughly unappetizing to me. And I used to love the bacon.

Maybe it was the cooking, but bacon seems repulsive at the moment.

Morrigoon 01-03-2008 10:37 AM

I think the only bacon I could be tempted to eat right now is Susan's.

Cadaverous Pallor 01-03-2008 10:41 AM

Nope, still no bacon cravings. My baconmeter is at capacity. At any other time, those images would have gotten you major points! :D

Wow, could that be taken the wrong way.

This is probably the only benefit I can claim for not being among the swanky PJs on NYE. My baconmeter still registers pleasure at the mere thought of bacon goodness.

alphabassettgrrl 01-03-2008 11:23 AM

Hey, there's got to be some good side to missing the party! The bacon looks good to me, too. :)

Welcome to the craziness, deebs! :)

Kevy Baby 01-03-2008 12:55 PM

Am I the only one who keeps reading the title to this thread and reading "Welcome Dweebs"?

blueerica 01-03-2008 02:50 PM

Welcome, Deebs!

Bacon-o-meter is holding steady... likely because I left at 1:30a on New Year's.

On the other hand, I've delightfully discovered that bacon seems to be less expensive in Utah. It doesn't quite offset the expense of decent beer, but it helps.

Gemini Cricket 01-03-2008 09:10 PM

Welcome Deebs from all us dweebs on LoT!
:)

LSPoorEeyorick 01-05-2008 09:46 AM

Hello there and welcome. You dance, eh? Sweet! I danced and choreographed as a teenager but didn't continue as an adult. I LOVE watching dance, though. We just saw the Matthew Bourne Nutcracker on TV and there were parts of it that were so electric!

Thanks!

I love watching dance too, and like you, I also gave up dancing as an adult. After I had my kids I figured I would just watch other people dance. I missed it too much though and have been back at it for several years.
