Hey Chernabog: Are You THIS Committed to Bjork?

CoasterMatt 01-15-2008 11:31 PM

REALLY committed would be this picture - lyrics to a Bjork song tattooed on your back - IN BRAILLE!

Chernabog 01-16-2008 01:24 AM

Committed enough to get ugly-as-sh*t tattoos? Ummm no thanks. ;)

The two hearts isn't a Bjork design (except for the lettering/font of her name). The braille, while a cool concept, visually looks like a nasty case of smurf acne.

It's as bad as what I joke about -- getting a B and a J on the inside of my left ass cheek, and an R and a K on the right one, two dots over the hole, and see what it spells when I bend over. :D

Seriously tho the tat I want isn't Bjork-related actually. What I want is an outline of Sleeping Beauty Castle with Chernabog coming over it, with the words "Came to Believe" on my hip.

Don't question my Bjork-mania tho. I have 7 wall hangings in my room (all Bjork) and over 100 of her discs, CDs, DVDs, books, etc. :) heheh yeah it's bad. I love that crazy bitch.

Cadaverous Pallor 01-16-2008 10:42 AM

You gotta love somebody. Bjork isn't a bad choice.

Capt Jack 01-16-2008 11:17 AM

Fabio....THAT would be considered a bad choice
Carrot Top....bad choice
Jessica Simpleton...erm...Simpson...bad choice if you play football

the list goes on

Chernabog 01-16-2008 12:28 PM

^^ oh, you KNOW there are people obsessed with those things. Those celebs make money somehow.

Now, a *real* Bjork tat obsessive would get a life-size tattoo of the swan dress around them ;)

Kevy Baby 01-16-2008 02:04 PM

I found this tattoo (in the OP) while looking at tattoos last night. I was simply blown away by the REALLY stupid things that people did (permanently) to their bodies.

Moonliner 01-16-2008 02:09 PM

Errr....

Sighted people (in general) don't read braille so they would not be able to read the tattoo.

Blind people can read braille but tattoos do not leave a permanent bump in the skin so they would not be able to read her back either.

Yeah, great plan there lady.

You do know that they now do under-skin implants? One could technically put small implant dots under each dot.

Capt Jack 01-16-2008 02:35 PM

ow. imagine trying to sleep with a thousand little BB's implanted in your back skin. yikes

I don't think that's where you're supposed to get a BJ, is it ?

Isaac 01-16-2008 03:08 PM

That depends on how freaky you're feeling ;)

Alex 01-16-2008 03:17 PM

Or do it with scarification or branding. Scars are my preferred body art they just can't be done with the precision I would want (and I don't tend to scar well anyway).

Alex 01-16-2008 03:18 PM

And the OP tattoo is actually pretty cool except for having Bjork in there. I'd probably have done it with a lighter ink for her name so that if I ever changed my mind it would be easy to "erase" it by going over with a darker ink filling in the heart.

The things you never knew you never knew.

(and in this case never wanted to)

cirquelover 01-16-2008 06:02 PM

Moonie- you mean you've never seen lizard boy?? Can somebody please find a pic of him, you know the guy with the horn things implanted in his head!?!

Kevy Baby 01-16-2008 06:27 PM

In order to protect the squeamish, I am only going to post links (not photos). And of course, almost all are NSFW.

Death Head (Tattoos and piercings on the head)
Corset (piercings on the back)
Borg (Umm...)
Brass Knuckles (implant in female chest)
Forked Tongue (Tongue split)
3D Tattoo (Scarification)
Giving the tattoo a boob job (implants under tattoo)

Real Cool Tattoo (nothing over the top like above: I just liked it)

Were you thinking of this guy:
Spoiler:

cirquelover 01-16-2008 06:51 PM

Yes, thank you! Somehow I knew it would be you that could find it for me! I saw him on tv a couple years ago. That's where I heard about the implant thing.

cirquelover 01-16-2008 06:55 PM

I think I would run if I saw death head coming down the street. I guarantee my son would!!

Hehehe! I was one of the bleacher fans when she wore that to the Academy Awards. I'll have to see if I still have a picture of it somewhere....

Chernabog 01-16-2008 07:06 PM

I always wonder what people who get this crazy tattoos and/or implants do for a living, besides become tattoo artists, piercers or implanters themselves.

Ooooo lucky Sohrshah, you were there that year that Bjork laid the eggs! :) hehe I saw her in the swan dress but a lot later at a concert at the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion.

I've seen a girl with the corset piercings before, at my favorite tattoo/piercing/art gallery.

Not Afraid 01-16-2008 09:06 PM

I have discovered something about myself I didn't know......pictures of tongue splitting makes me very light headed. However, penis splitting doesn't make me even blink.

Ok, now I've never heard of that one:eek: Actually I could have lived a wonderful life without ever hearing of that....and I'm not even a guy! Thanks NA, now I can't get that idea out of my head. It sounds....umm...I can't even find the words, shudder!

Not Afraid 01-16-2008 10:53 PM

There is a book put out by Survival Research Labratories called "Modern Primitives". It was actually a text we used in an Art History course in college. Inside said book is a lovely pic of a man who had this proceedure done. It's a great book of you're into body modification.

cirquelover 01-16-2008 10:58 PM

Bbbut splitting his penis?! Then there's the mechanical questions, how does he pee and such?!
It's something I never could have even dreamed of being in the realm of possibilities!! I'm flustered, I....I don't know

By the by, I actually liked the swan dress. I thought it was kitschy and ballsy.

Not Afraid 01-17-2008 11:19 AM

The guy in the "Modern Primitives" book actually had it split down the middle and has, in effect, 2 smaller penises. I guess they both function sexually and he says they are more pleasurable for women.

The king of the Modern Primitives is Fakir Musafar. His web site is here (and probably NSFW).

Alex 01-17-2008 11:29 AM

The penis is essentially just three wobbly bits that merged and so separation of the whole into two or three pieces isn't really that complex so long as it is done with care.

My view is that I have enough trouble with my pits and pieces getting themselves into uncomfortable positions in my clothes or as I sit/walk/etc., that I really don't need to let it do so in multiple ways simultaneously.

Oddly, while I love the tactility of a new tattoo, branding, or scarring, I don't think I could go the implant route. I think having a small bearing under the skin would be too much like a deep boil or pimple and I'd constantly be trying to bring it to the surface.
