Reporting LIVE from Puppy Bowl IV

This is Thurston Howl reporting LIVE! from Puppy Bowl IV!

First on the field are a couple of rowdy terriers. They sure know how to RUFF things up!

Now the Amstaff and the Cockapoo are making a play for it.

TOUCHDOWN!!!!!

And, now a word from our SPONSORS:

Oops, I didn't know we were rolling again.

I've decided to see how the view is from the Box Seats.

It's HOWLING GOOD!

Hi, Charles here, giving all of you my best disapproving face to let you know how I feel about Thurston's taste in programming.

Yes, CHARLES, I know. It gets a bit slow after a while.

Actually, it's downright EXHAUSTING!

Gemini Cricket 02-03-2008 11:50 PM

Yay!
Visible Thurston mojo!
:)

Nephythys 02-04-2008 06:15 AM

LOL!

Scrooge McSam 02-04-2008 07:05 AM

Awww He's so exhausted from all the game excitement that his little tail "almost" uncurled.

Cute!

Strangler Lewis 02-04-2008 07:26 AM

Did Thurston tailgate for two hours before the game?

flippyshark 02-04-2008 07:39 AM

Howling Thurston is painfully cute!

3894 02-04-2008 07:48 AM

Thurston, honey - you just made my week. Smooches to you and your humans.:snap:

blueerica 02-04-2008 09:11 AM

How cuuuute!

JWBear 02-04-2008 11:23 AM

A-dor-a-ble!

Cadaverous Pallor 02-04-2008 11:43 AM

Aww. We saw a bit of the PuppyBowl, killer cuteness.

What did your in-house commentators think of the Kitty half-time?

BDBopper 02-04-2008 11:44 AM

How cute! I watched the Puppy Bowl for the first time. It was neato! :)

Ponine 02-04-2008 01:30 PM

I watched.... but I didnt remember the Cheering Crowds from years past...

And what was that HUMONGO dog that was there the last quarter???

Snowflake 02-04-2008 02:03 PM

shrimp mojo for Charles!

sleepyjeff 02-04-2008 04:01 PM

I watched it for about an hour last night while reading. My Cat totally ignored it as did the Beagle. That Datsun, however, would perk his head up and turn it a little sideways with a concerned look on his face every time he heard the puppies growling/fighting over the chew toys:)

Morrigoon 02-04-2008 04:50 PM

How cute... was Thurston just totally engrossed?

Kitty Half-Time was known in this house as Nap Time.

I believe you're talking about the Alaskan Malumute. Or, possibly the Bernese Mountain Dog. (Was is buff colored or darker parti-colored?)

COMPLETELY! He never got bored. We did, but he didn't. (I play with cute puppies all day long.....yawn ;) )

Morrigoon 02-04-2008 07:06 PM

Coolness... a client of mine just contacted me about some properties he'd like to see... ones I already thought might suit him. This could be good.

Keep your fingers crossed.

Kevy Baby 02-04-2008 07:15 PM

Wait a minute... I just noticed that your post was made at 10:48 p.m. PST. Puppy Bowl ended at least three hours before that. This was NOT a live report. The title lies!

I feel so manipulated :(

BarTopDancer 02-04-2008 07:16 PM

Cute!

Is it me, or is he lifting his leg? ;)

€uroMeinke 02-04-2008 11:59 PM

No humans were soiled in the watching of the Puppy Bowl

Ah, the Malumute I bet.
The giant buff colored puppy they stuck in there that no one came up to his tummy.

THe Bermese Mtn Dog was that other large dark blk/brwn one right? Not "quite" as large. And not nearly so comical.

That little speedy fox terrier and I were about to have words.

Probably the Jack Russel. They are quite some dog in a little body.

We just loved him and felt sorry for him in the same breath. He was so big, he had problems manuvering in such a tight space and the others were running circles around him! Did you see the size of that big boys feet?! They were huge, he's going to be a huge dog! I can't remember how old they said he was but I was shocked when compared to the others!

blueerica 02-05-2008 12:55 PM

Me, too! I loved the malamute and even voted for him on their website.

So cute!!

Not Afraid 02-06-2008 08:51 PM

Chris decided to watch a show about breeding dogs (in HD). The barking will NOT stop!

Actually, it did stop for an instant when the Lab willingly jumped into a pool of water. He seemed very confused as to why a dog would do that willingly. (He has a recent unfortunate experience with a pool.)
