Well, a couple of my other favorite theme park websites (RideWorld and Theme Park Review) along with Six Flags Magic Mountain threw one hell of an awesome event yesterday.

The park looks better than it has in at least a decade, and the staff was quite friendly- at times I felt like I was in an old training video :)

We ran into the park's new management team several times through out the day, and in one instance, the park's president hopped behind the counter at Johnny Rockets to get the orders out quickly.

These guys really seem to "get it". They've made a ton of changes in only 7 months time, and there are still things to do, but they're on the right path.

I had an absolute blast, and other than one bit of getting sick, I think GC had a great time, too.

I heard about the yammy!!! Sounds like a good time! I can't wait to go back when X2 opens.

I had a great time at Magic Mountain.
I shall post about that tomorrow, too.

Actually i hear the management for SF and SFMM is brilliant and nice to everyone.. even when not near a recording device.

Superman: The Escape
Riddler's Revenge
Scream
Colossus
Goliath (just Matt)
Gold Rusher
Ninja
Goliath (both of us)

I think that's all of the ones we went on.

Tatsu is amazing. My favorite overall. I also enjoyed Goliath. That one was the most intimidating to me. Huge first drop. But I loved it.

We also got a tour of the X2 facility and got a cool view of Viper.

And to dispel the rumors that are out there... Yes, I did spew burrito chunks. I did so after we did Riddler, Scream and Colossus all in a row. But after I did the rainbow yawn, I was fine. But I didn't want to ride any more loop coasters for the day...

I want Chicken Katsu for dinner.

Those creepy childrens' heads are in the shooting gallery like GD said. They are scary. I pointed them out to Matt and he took a picture of them. Wicked scary.

I just thought that was GC after a few of those Ice Cream Sandwiches. ;)

I'm trhying to lose my hitchcockian traits before Japan because it was "Touch & Go" on a lot of the MM rides as to whether they could staple me in or not.

...and I'd rather not talk about the rides at Belmont Park if its all the same.

I finally saw this thread and I LOVE the pics! The park looks fantastic.
