Today is taking forever. My co-worker and I were just saying that, and then I got an IM from another LoTTer suggesting the same thing. And since I now have "extra" time on my hands, I got to thinking about the phenomenon of time movement.

A logical conclusion would be that time goes by quickly when you're busy, or positively occupied ("time flies when you're having fun") and goes by slowly when you're bored, or negatively occupied.

That's not always the case. I'm busy, I'm happy, yet the day is crawling. Lunch seemed that it was going by super fast, but it had only been 45 minutes.

Bored thoughts from random mind.

I've been home from work sick for three days. I know all about dragging time. I'm so incredibly flippin' bored.

Do like everyone else and go to work sick! DUH! :p

HOCKEY PLAYOFFS!

NBA and NHL post-season = Wake me when it's May. While I'll be bummed if the Warriors miss the playoffs, I'm trying to remember that having 8 out of 15 teams from each conference in the playoffs is silly.

Yeah: how did the Ducks do last night?

After last night that's just depressing. But thanks for trying :)

We had a horrible loss to Detroit during the playoffs last year and look what happened. We just got our craptacular game out of the way early. We need 4 wins, doesn't matter which order we get em.

I'm experiencing the exact same phenomenon today. But I know exactly why. It's a Friday and everyone else in the office has taken off early, but I'm still here working all by myself. Nobody is stressing me out. I'm doing some work I enjoy. I'm listening to some of my favorite podcasts. But the past few hours have gone by incredibly slow and I can't wait to get out of here.

In fact, I'm leaving right now. :D

I couldn't help but think Tic...Toc....Dragon! When I read this.

Today sucked. Today's over.

I left early today.

Today was all about packing and laundry, packing and laundry.
Bleh.

Today was all about packing and moving and moving and packing.


My office is moving over the weekend. For those of you who read my el jay, the moving saga of my mother may have passed the hump, but is far from over. It consumes my non-work life, and my work life has also been all about moving.


I'm throroughly sick of packing and moving and moving and packing.



Unpacking and finding /making places for everything is not that much more fun, either.




I'm completely frelling exhausted.

Nobody says "frell" anymore. That's so 2005.
