Fullerton Railroad Days 2008: May 3 & 4

If you haven't been yet, this event is really a lot of fun. Disney sends out a steam engine (looks like the Fred Gurley this year), there are several other train cars that will be available to walk through, and many model train groups with huge model train setups (my favorite being the Lego model railroad group)

Oh, and it's free :)

And they have a great pancake breakfast, it comes with bacon.

What other reason does one need?

I have gone the last 2 years and plan on going this year.

Big fun!

You get to play on a Disney locomotive for a few minutes (after waiting for a while). They even hook an air compressor up to the whistle, so you can let 'er rip!

So... shall we make it a meet, kids? This is only 3 weeks from now.

I think there were 2 or 3 other things being posted that in the works for that weekend.

Friday is BTD's birthday and Saturday is CP's birthday.

Nothing else (including FRR Daze) is on the calendar.

Hmm.. according to a recently-bumped thread, I guess one of the things going on is that Little Mermaid thing at the El Cap. Not sure which day though. BTD: could you let me know the whens of the couple events you referred to, I'll take care to schedule around them as much as possible.

I don't know if the two things I mentioned were what BTD was mentioning - I just looked at the calendar and saw those items.

I actually don't know what BTD was referring to. It must be some super secret get-together that you and I are being snubbed on.

Little Mermaid was one of them. I thought there was something else (a concert or something) going on on the third as well. There are threads around here somewhere. Nothing referred to was related to mine or CPs birthdays.
