Lyrics Help: Fingerbang my heart
There's a song I've heard a few times on the radio and I never have a pen/paper handy to write down any info on it.
One line from the song says something about fingerbanging my heart - like don't fingerbang my heart. I've done a search online but that must not be the right phrase because I'm not getting anything usefull from the searches. Anyone know the song I'm talking about? |
oh lordie- this thread had the potential to get wild. LOL
|
It may be Don't Phunk With My Heart by the Black Eyed Peas

Do you have other details about the song - what style of music? Because there are a lot of songs about doing things to hearts - and for some reason, fingerbanging a heart just doesn't seem... right.
Lordy... Hehe |
Well, I remember the South Park song "Fingerbang" - and apparently there was a PNW band called "Finger Bang City"...
|
It's not the Don't Phunk with my heart nor is it the Finger Bang (bang bang) song by South Park.
I believe I've heard it on KROQ or JackFM. I wish I could remember more of it. |
Just in case anyone wanted to know - the song is called Love me Dead and it's by Ludo.

I heard that song yesterday after a long time of not hearing it, what a coincidence!
I love it, it does stick, da dan da da da da da, brumbta da da da da da......:snap: |
I put in into spoilers because I can't remember the rules about posting songs.....if I can't do even this, let me know I'll fix it.

Haha I was gonna say "Unbreak my Heart" but that's hard to turn into "fingerbang".
My dad had a calendar with quotes that people think are real and they're not. Like "Total Eclipse of the Heart" became "Totally Blitzted By A Fart" or "Our Lips Are Sealed" became "Alex the Seal" or "Secret Agent Man" became "Secret Asian Man". Myself, I used to think (when I was a kid) the words to the Three's Company theme song were "Nama Namana No! Nama Namana New! Three's Company Too!" Or "You're The One That I Want" was "Ama Namana Na! Oooh oooh ooooh!" (Apparently I was a kid that was into Doo-Wop lol) |
I doubt anyone's going to go after us for having lyrics posted. Though for the record, putting text in a spoiler bot doesn't really hide it from being found by automated searches that would be looking for copyright violations. But we're not a money-making outfit, so we're probably well below the radar.

My little sister (when she was 2yrs old or so) had a funny one for "The Facts of Life":
When the world never seems To be living laffa laffa dee. Then suddenly you're finding out The Facts of Life are all about mooo. ---------------- I grew up thinking that the lyrics for "London Bridge is Falling Down" was: London bridges falling down As in, all of the bridges all over London were falling down. Not just the big famous one... ----------------- A friend of my older sister thought the song was: This is the dawning of the age of aquarium... |
One thing I found interesting was how fast this thread appeared on Google while I was searching. I always thought it took awhile for newer posts to show up there.

Here is a little song I wrote
You might want to sing it note for note Don't worry be happy In every life we have some trouble When you worry you make it double Don't worry, be happy...... |

In the song from Flashdance, What a Feeling, my wife always thought "take your passion, and make it happen" was "take your pants down, and make it happen."
Sounds good to me! :D |
Well, {putting my fingers in my suspenders, sitting back in my chair}, my job is done.
Don't you get a lunch? Perhaps you can go walking around whistling a merry tune and your co-workers will get over it? Dang, don't they get it, the song is don't worry, be happy!!! ;) Not Sweetness, sweetness I was only joking when I said I'd like to smash every tooth in your head.... Sweetness, sweetness, I was only joking when I said by rights you should be bludgeoned in your bed.... And now I know how Joan of Arc felt, now I know how Joan of Arc felt, as the flames rose to her Roman nose and her walkman started to melt.... Bigmouth, Bigmouth, Bigmouth strikes again and I've got no right to take my place with the human race.... {I love this song but had to quit singing it around the house, Hubster took it very personally....} |
