Anybody planting a tree?

I'm not.

In fact, if anybody I know has ever actually planted a tree for Arbor Day I've been unaware of it.

I went to Home Depot and bought some lumber.

Ah, Arbor Day. Today always reminds me of It's Arbor Day, Charlie Brown. It's my second favorite Peanuts Special right behind It's Casimir Pulaski Day Again, Charlie Brown.

I say we make this the best Arbor day ever!

Trees? I thought this day was about when all the shipd go sailing into the arbor.

Did you pick up some imported wood from the Home Depot parking lot again?

You know scaeagles: he'll take his wood from anywhere.

Once you've got your wood from MBC's lot, anything else seems like premium cut lumber.

Hahah all of the Miis look like that. There's this thing the "Mii Channel" on your Wii (ok, now that DID sound dirty) in which you can create an avatar to use in various games. So naturally people create celebrity Miis, or Miis of their friends. But they all look similar, with big heads on strange stylized shafts... errrr... bodies.

Great Caesars salad! Arbor day is almost half over and I have done nothing! Another wasted Arbor day!

Wow, another Arbor day come and gone, just like that -- (dramatically snaps finger)

It seems I was just getting used to that special Arbor "feeling" when, just as quickly as it had appeared, it past. The end. Finished. Finis. Just like that -- (dramatically blows upon palm)

Now I am alone. Alone, with only the thoughts of my Arbor adventures to keep me company and a snootful of whiskey to keep me warm. Nevertheless, I still have the Arbor Day tree I cut down from the field behind my building. And its still covered in lights and tinsel in honor of trees everywhere. We gots to save 'em, folks. Someday they will be all gone. Just like that -- (dramatically kicks backside of sleeping hobo, then after rifling through pockets, dramatically runs away)
