Hypothetical 2010 USA trip.

If, and it's just a hypothetical at the moment, the LashPair were to go to the USA in October 2010, would anyone be able to accommodate us for, say, a week?

Actually, considering the length of our trips, it might have to be several different someones.

...Just a thought we had. Accommodation savings = more money for airfares.

...We promise to come and go quietly, and we'd hire our own car.

Goodness, we may even have to go swank camping too !

wendybeth 05-04-2008 01:24 AM

If you wanted to explore the Pacific Northwest, we would most certainly love to have you as our guests.

€uroMeinke 05-04-2008 01:47 AM

Are you kidding? The real question is would we ever let you leave?

mousepod 05-04-2008 07:20 AM

What Chris said.

JWBear 05-04-2008 08:13 AM

We have a guest room!

NirvanaMan 05-04-2008 08:22 AM

But of course!

Ghoulish Delight 05-04-2008 08:34 AM

I'm sure rabbits and bears get along just fine.

LSPoorEeyorick 05-04-2008 08:39 AM

We also have a guest room - and we're happy to share it!

flippyshark 05-04-2008 08:44 AM

You ARE coming to Florida as well, yes? I know of at least three homes that would gladly have you here.

Ghoulish Delight 05-04-2008 08:46 AM

I read "...at least three homos..."

The sentence is probably true either way.

BarTopDancer 05-04-2008 09:00 AM

If I had a guest room, of course.

But if you actually wanted three homos, you'd have to stay at my place ... and the welcome mat is out. (as is the host)

Sure, sure ... lots of folks here would host you in a hot minute, but ask yourself .... Are TheY GaY???

(there's a slogan in there somewhere, but i'm too foggy this morning to uncover it.)

Hey. I'm gay!

innerSpaceman 05-04-2008 09:07 AM

oh, missed that. foggy. morning.

BUT ... staying at your place would result in FOUR homos.

Only here can they stay with the pathetically single man who can guarantee the required mix of THREE HOMOS.

oh.

wait.

Umm, actually, no.

€uroMeinke 05-04-2008 09:56 AM

So, you realize now - any plans will have to be extended becasue any of us you don't spend a week with will feel slighted.

katiesue 05-04-2008 10:04 AM

I've got room here.

innerSpaceman 05-04-2008 10:19 AM

Pfft, they've no intention of visiting the States in 'aught Ten. This is just a blatant and despicable bid for attention and affirmation of popularity.

Disgusting!!

Because when someone wants to explore the PNW they head to Spokane? There's a long boring drive between WB and the important part of the state... :p

lashbear 05-04-2008 01:47 PM

Sooo, looks like we're up to a 13 week holiday so far...

And iSm, This is most certainly not a blatant and despicable bid for attention and affirmation of popularity.....
but cha do like me, huh, don't ya, huh ?

Goodness!! It looks like we may have a chance of getting this on the road ! :snap:

CoasterMatt 05-04-2008 02:50 PM

You might not want to stay at our place, but we'd love to see you again :)

BDBopper 05-04-2008 03:04 PM

I would offer you two a room if I have one to offer at that point in time. Though you;d probably be passing through to Florida Hmmm there's an interesting thought. though should I really be mean and let you stay only if you let me go to Florida with ya? LOL Naaaaaaa! I'm not that mean and heartless...

Cadaverous Pallor 05-04-2008 05:27 PM

We've got a room, queen size inflatable bed, and between all of us, there's no way you'd ever have to pay for a drink or snack.

Gemini Cricket 05-04-2008 05:35 PM

Yay!
:)

We'll have to set some bear traps so that they must stay.
:)

lashbear 05-05-2008 04:31 AM

OK, so should we visit Disneyland this trip ??

innerSpaceman 05-05-2008 08:12 AM

No, but there will be some great things in DCA by 2010.

(oh, and the new monorails might just be running by then.)

Disneyphile 05-05-2008 10:20 AM

I'm willing to make some dinners so you can save money on food too!

And, if we have our house by then, we'll have a guest room that is yours at anytime. :)

As opposed to the long, boring commutes Seattleites endure daily?:p

(For your information, Lash- Eastern Washington/Northern Idaho is lovely. So lovely that all the Hollywood celebs and athletic stars are buying it up and pricing us out of the market... It's Central Washington that is rather blah).

Disneyland sucks.

I can't believe you asked that.

There are lots of other things to see in SoCal. But really, to ask that....

dlrp_bopazot 05-10-2008 06:53 PM

Yet.

We've got Europe pencilled in for 2012.

Disneyland Paris,
Holland,
Great Britain,
Ireland.

...nothing wrong with forward thinking... :D

Not Afraid 05-10-2008 09:24 PM

I think I will just buck the trend and say that you can't stay here, eat here nor see the cutest collection of puppies and kitties in the universe. So there. ;)

lashbear 05-11-2008 01:39 AM

Well, that means we can still **** there

~MS~ 05-11-2008 10:25 AM

Go away from your computer for a week and look what pops up...while there are offers IN the city if you and the stoat were of a mind to visit 'inland' in the bay area and hit the Jelly Belly factory or run up to Sacramento for a day or two I can promise a bed, meals and lots of hugs. Not to mention coordinating a trip to so cal so we can cruise the park a wee bit together.
