Recipe I had to share
Lashbears Uber Crunchy Oven Baked Drumsticks.
These are Tender & Succulent as anything, but are quite healthy !! (well, a bit of chicken skin, but who's counting?) 2 cups cornflake crumbs (Or Japanese Panko) 1/2 cup grated Parmesan (the dry powdery type) 2 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper 2 eggs 12 chicken drumsticks
|
BTW: This is what we're having for dinner tonight. :snap:
|

Um, are those chicken drumstick, or wallabie legs? ;)
All I can eat is one......:D Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I have seen a recipe very much like this, and I love the cornflake oven baked crunch, and the Parmasian cheesy goodness! Yum!:snap: |

I think I will try this out and use Spam instead of chicken. I will serve it over some rice

Great article, Alex. Thanks !!
I always thought Panko looked like it was shredded from the loaf with a rotating drum of pins (think a large music-box drum) |

Over rice, I would go a light sweet and sour sauce !
With mashed potato and biscuits, I would make a country sausage gravy (of course....) |
This sounds like a fantastic recipe (except for the cayenne pepper. Thanks for sharing

No taste for Hot Stuff, BDB? I like the chicken to have a little kick to it - it you're a beginner to hot things, a quarter teaspoon or even a pinch would do.

Fascinating stuff, science. So to substitute, I would add a little tarragon to the crumbs instead. :D |
